I worked for Thornton's when I was student, I hated the smell of rum and raisin when I had to clean down the ice cream counter every night but we used to sell loads of it!

I don’t like rum or raisins on their own but do like the ice cream!!

Also don’t drink coffee as can’t stand it but do like coffee cake and tiramisu

I don't think I've tried it since I was a kid and thought it was a revolting taste and it was full if raisins which is a hideous thing to do to ice cream. Maybe I should try it again because I actually like rum now I am an adult...or maybe I will just have a mojito. In fact Mojito sorbet might be nicer!

I like it, and coffee and mint choc chip. Not a fan of tutti frutti but I’ve never had a proper one, just gino ginelli in the 80s/90s so I’ll reserve judgement. The world would be a big pile of shite if there was only a few ice cream flavours to choose from.

I didn’t know they still sold it. Last time I came across it was in the 70’s. It was my sister’s favourite, along with tutti frutti. Hated them both (flavours, not DSis) and will never convert.

I rarely see it for sale these days! I thought it had gone out of fashion!

I think it’s a shame it’s got raisins in. I’ve not had it since I was a child, but I remember enjoying the rum ice cream and having to eat around the raisins. I’ve not bothered since. I think someone needs to invent just rum ice cream. Or even better, rum choc chip 😋

People have different preferences how is that hard to get? Noone is eating rum and raisins to try to be interesting. They eat it because its a flavour they like.

I don't like fish and chips. I understand others do.
