To ask if you'll be attending the anti fascism protest on 13 September

I'd like to go in solidarity with like minded people, but worry about it turning violent. I won't be taking my children and will likely be going alone. Lots of people I know detest Tommy Robinson but will stay away due to the likelihood of trouble, but I really want to help send a message that racism and hatred won't win. Is anyone here considering going, or decided to stay away?

'Him from power?' Who's him? You seem to be talking about Nigel Farage when the demonstration is against Tommy Robinson. Do you think Tommy Robinson is going to get into power?

Here's a quote from Robinson, straight out of the Hitler play book:

He was also a member of the British National Party. Here's what one of his mates has said:

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it's probably a duck (or a fascist in this case). Literally nothing to do with immigration and everything to do with Nazism.

No. By fascists I assume you mean people who oppose mass immigration. That doesn’t make you a fascist. It’s a perfectly rational position to hold. Multiculturalism and mass immigration have been IMPOSED on this country, and have destroyed people’s sense of identity. No one asked for it and no one voted for it. Now that’s fascism.

I don’t know how the left have got the nerve to call people like Tommy Robinson a fascist. No one on earth is more dictatorial, intolerant or hate-filled than those on the left. I have never met such horrible, spiteful people. If you do attend, be careful. The levels of smugness could become suffocating.

Even supposing you're right about him not being a fascist (you're not), did you miss his string of convictions for violence, fraud, stalking and harrassment? And you expect me to take your opinions seriously when you choose to side with a man who kicked another person in the head while he was on the floor? Rather be among smugs than thugs.

Why can't those who support open borders simply take in one of the hotel residents themselves? Surely that would solve the problem overnight?
