For thinking that the migrant protests ...

Should be held at the council offices, Government departments, rather than the migrant hotels? After all, it's due to the government's lack of processing that the migrants are there?

Heartening to see that most of the protesters are being outnumbered by counter protesters.

But….theres a large number of people sat at home, not taking part in these protests, but who absolutely agree with the sentiment behind them - immigration numbers must be lowered. It’s the silent majority that the government need to be aware of. After all, in nearly all polls, immigration comes out in the top three of concerns for the voters, so there are clearly a lot of concerned people, who choose not to go out parading the streets on a weekend.

Why should people be kind to racists?

Who is racist?

That’s got to be because immigrants were mainly doctors -the ones arriving as asylum seekers arent
edit and just to add that without id we have no real idea who is in the country

Edited

About 1/3 of doctors in the UK are immigrants, but Google and AI assure me that most immigrants are not doctors. So does arithmetic. Many are academics; many are nurses: many seem to drive my taxis. Immigrants are as diversely skilled as any group of people.

So are asylum seekers and refugees (who have been granted asylum). Doctors, writers, scientists and artists are just as likely to be persecuted as anyone else. All the more so when dealing with repressive regimes or where gay sex is a capital crime.

Perhaps you are thinking of people who attempt to claim asylum for economic reasons and are generally rebuffed?

The 2021 Nobel Laureate for Literature Abdulrazak Gurnah and the 2018 Fields Medallist (Mathematics) Caucher Birkar both received asylum in the UK as young people. Their contributions to this country’s culture, academics and national prestige are almost beyond words.

Stereotypes aren’t accurate and don’t help.

I don't want my taxes spent on illegals.

Then you might want to protest against the British government significantly increasing defence budgets, (including supporting Ukraine) while the NHS and Education budgets remain a lower priority. The UK never needed to be bombing the Middle East and Africa. There was no significant threat to British soil. They have always claimed they were bombing for the 'freedom' of civilians (yet the millions of dead civilians as a result, are just 'collateral damage') In fact, Politicians are quite savvy. They quite often have shares in defence organisations and actually profit when they drop a few bombs. (Theresa May) Then they stand and watch the nation bickering with each other while they get rich. Even US Senator Prescott Bush helped Hitler rise to power because his companies were financial backers of Nazi Germany and he made a LOT of money from those deals. Then the US took the credit for bringing Hitler down. Surprise! Same with Osama Bin Laden. Yet it's ordinary civilians who suffer and die, and people ignorant to it all who sit and moan.

You know this how? There are equally an huge number of people who are fully supportive of immigration and know that the UK would collapse without it,

The anti-immigration protesters, many wearing St George's and Union flags, clashed with Stand Up to Racism protesters.

They sang songs in support of far-right activist Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon.

A man at a protest is held back by police.

Arrests at anti-immigration protests outside Horley hotel

About 200 anti-immigration protesters gathered outside a hotel used to house asylum seekers in Horley.

Won't someone please think of the white bald ones ! They deserve kindness and empathy, unlike the people they are trying to intimidate with their placards and flags.

Did you just use colour in a derogatory fashion. What a horrible racist.

The English could say the same about the Roman Empire but we don’t.

It’s the protestors and their omnicause. ‘The Omnicause is, simply, every cause you must care about if you’re A Good Progressive rolled into one, because everything in the world is connected.’ Let’s add immigration protestors counter protestors to the list.

https://www.thejc.com/opinion/welcome-to-the-omnicause-the-fatberg-of-activism-rw849dht

So trans rights are connected to Palestinian rights are connected to environmental concerns, and any self-respecting progressive who cares about one has to care about the other two.

Queers for Palestine; headlines in the Guardian such as “Emissions from Israel’s war in Gaza have immense effect on climate catastrophe”; standfirsts in the New York Times such as “In many students’ eyes, the war in Gaza is linked to other issues, such as policing, mistreatment of Indigenous people, racism and the impact of climate change.”

Too long, didn’t read? “Everything that I don’t like is fascism.” I’ve lost count now of the number of Democrat senators whose social media biographers finish with “she/her. Palestine.”

Edited

That explains it. Thank you for solving the mystery!
They take a Palestinian flag, keffiyeh, full face mask, sunglasses and hat disguise, and they're good to go. Balaclava optional. They can hop from protest to protest without the need to get changed. Genius.
