We need someone with backbone to put forward an alternative political viewpoint.

This is good news. I agree we need an alternative political view. This Labour seems more like a Conservative government.

Redshoeblueshoe · 03/07/2025 21:37

Well splitting the Labour vote leaves the door wide open for Reform.
Is that what you actually want ?

SunnySideDeepDown · 03/07/2025 21:38

Haha Corbyn? Nah.

LlynTegid · 03/07/2025 21:40

Maybe a few seats, nothing more.

I support PR and have believed in it for most of my adult life, the sooner the better.

DebbyU · 03/07/2025 21:40

Love the butter pie user name and yes to corbyn!

CanOfMangoTango · 03/07/2025 21:44

We need something that's not the bloody awful Labour Party as a left alternative.

DoubleShotEspresso · 03/07/2025 21:48

I worry that splitting Labour votes may be counterproductive .
However, nobody I know considers our government to reflect real Labour values.
Ultimately, this is I think a good thing and Starmer & co should pay attention.

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 03/07/2025 21:48

Yes, it is good for Reform as the left wing vote will be split and good for everyone as hopefully we will never have Labour government again.

RubyBirdy · 03/07/2025 21:50

I’m very happy about it, as this Labour government are NOT a Labour government in my eyes. However, Reform will still win. I’m not allowing myself to get my hopes up and be disappointed again. I’m furious with Labour for ruining this opportunity to improve things.

Crumpet727 · 03/07/2025 21:53

It’s great news. It means that what little hope Labour had has now been officially extinguished. Reform and Conservatives will now be clear front 2 parties by an absolute country mile at the next GE.

It breaks my heart to say this but I think Labour have become more right wing than the Tories are.

I am totally horrified at the cuts to disability payments for the most vulnerable people. I work in public services and see things getting worse not better.

I think that a more left wing presence is a good thing, to challenge, and hold Starmer accountable .

Completely fed up with being led by billionaires.

Glad to see them both as far as possible from the Labour party.
Sultana isn't interested in the UK or her constituency. She wasn't elected to represent Palestine.
Corbyn is the reason many traditional labour voters voted Tory in 2019.
Let them plot away together.

Lonelycrab · 03/07/2025 21:55

Hilarious that posters can think they can predict what will happen in a GE some 4 years away.

EasternStandard · 03/07/2025 21:57

It’s great

marshmallowpuff · 03/07/2025 21:57

Magic grandpa and Momemtum ruined the current Labour Party we have, and caused the current dearth of talent in the main party, Now he wants to do it even more? No thanks.

123gogogo · 03/07/2025 21:57

I hadn't heard about this but I'm really pleased.

It's so sad to see what the Labour Party has become.

DustyTangerine · 03/07/2025 21:57

there won’t be any holding labour accountable coming from the that corner though

SayLaveee · 03/07/2025 21:58

If they're standing for Palestine, TWAW and more immigration then im still a politically homeless left wing voter

BreadInCaptivity · 03/07/2025 21:59

Neither of them were/are effective politicians. They are activists who cling to rhetoric without understanding the context required to manage a village economy and its relations with its neighbouring town never mind a country and global state relationships.

ExercicenformedeZ · 03/07/2025 21:59

No, they are a pair of clowns.

Lots of people who are not sociopaths care about Palestinians

StepAwayFromGoogling · 03/07/2025 22:25

Jeremy Corbyn? The Jeremy Corbyn who did nothing to stop the rabid anti-semetism that was sweeping Labour under his leadership? Who had traditional Labour voters leaving in their droves? That Jeremy Corbyn? Nah, think we're OK without him, thanks.

sophistitroll · 03/07/2025 22:28

I’m glad they’ve left. Hopefully they can make even bigger fools of themselves than they already have. Dreadful people.

millymollymoomoo · 03/07/2025 22:30

You gotta be kidding ! No way

Agrumpyknitter · 03/07/2025 22:33

Yes, it is good for Reform as the left wing vote will be split and good for everyone as hopefully we will never have Labour government again.

And you won’t have an NHS as Farage will sell it to the Americans and Reform also don’t believe in social security so that will end. Financially my family are better off under the Conservatives and probably Reform but the amount of people that will suffer in this country as a consequence should Reform get in power. You think foodbanks are bad now it’s going to get so much worse.

50 families own the half the wealth in the U.K that should worry you, that gap is going to get bigger under Reform.

and out of interest how has dear old Nigel helped his constituents out and bettered their lives considering he’s too busy with his second job to even turn up for his constituents!
