Inspired by a comment on another thread, and in an attempt to give relief from the weighty matters of the world, futile though it might be, here is my cat and her two week old kittens. A proud and devoted Mum indeed.

I had my Dad's funeral last week, and my MIL was cremated earlier today, and these little scraps are literally keeping me sane.

I want to see a before and after!

We currently have five foster kittens that we are taking care of for the animal shelter until they are big enough to be put up for adoption. At this moment they are climbing all over me because I am eating a salad from Wendy's and they for some reason think that they too would enjoy a salad from Wendy's. Here is a picture of two of them sleeping on my lap. They actually just got back from the shelter because they had to get vaccinations today.

That is the plan but she has to wean first, and immediate issue is avoiding a repeat performance so boy cat is taking one for the team x

Here’s Kitty feeling very chilled.

For anyone who doesn't know, 'the litter tray' section on MN has a glorious set of cat and kitten threads being updated every day 😻

My silly boy who comes for a walk with me every day in the churchyard at the back of my house. We play hide and seek there. (Yes, I do get some strange looks as I'm a 55 year old woman chasing a cat around outside, but I don't care) 😉

I love the idea of a cat playing hide and seek!

And Grumpy has some excellent cats.
