Inspired by a comment on another thread, and in an attempt to give relief from the weighty matters of the world, futile though it might be, here is my cat and her two week old kittens. A proud and devoted Mum indeed.

I had my Dad's funeral last week, and my MIL was cremated earlier today, and these little scraps are literally keeping me sane.

I don't have a cat anymore, but here are two ladybirds having fun on my rosemary plant:

Scrolling through quickly looking at the wonderful photos and there was a picture of a rugged bearded man in an advert - thought someone had posted their DH lol x which is fine - some are furrier than others !!

Here's my all black girl from an all black mum and litter. She was adorable as a kitten, still is. She's three and the tabby and white is 16.

It's always interesting to see what combination you get in a litter. I've got two Mum and two Dad - Dad's a tuxedo. Years ago two of my cats had litters that were complete pick and mix, but they were outside cats.

These two best buds never fail to cheer me up. Zephyr is very protective of his wee 'brother '....my little grandson. 😀

My girl was five years old and pregnant when rescued - the shelter thought she’d probably escaped from a backyard breeder. Now spayed & will never have to go through that again, thank fuck.

My litter was a happy accident from complicated circumstances but I have this afternoon booked my boy in for his pre-op appointment to avoid a repeat performance. I just hope he doesn't hate me x

And I already have homes for the babies - family and trusted friends. But I might keep one, as my witchy ethos approves of the power of three 😘

Unashamedly sharing - this is my gorgeous boy. Such a character. He is still "marmite" to my friends though.
