To think I've peaked after spotting three celebs in one day??!

On a work trip to London today. I spotted:

Hugo Taylor (MIC OG) this morning on the street near Liverpool Street station

James Acaster (comedian) coming out of Liverpool Street station at the end of the working day, AND

(Most excitingly for me) Marina Hyde with her husband, running for a train at Paddington Station!

I’m not even a massive celeb-spotter usually, but this was a personal record. AIBU to think this is peak and it’s all downhill from here?

Can anyone beat that? What's your best day of unexpected celeb sightings?

I suppose I could tell you about the time we were at the Albert Hall and the fire alarm went off just as the performance finished. We followed the fire exit signs and came out of an exit right beside the stage door to find ourselves in the middle of the entire cast still in costume, together with the orchestra (plus instruments).

I’ve only ever been to Albermarle Street in Mayfair twice in my life and both times I have seen Bill Nighy. I don’t ever want to go again in case I don’t see him.

Bill Nighy is often seen around Pimlico, ive seen him twice.

My friend lives in Johnny Vegas's home town, we used to see him regularly when I visited. He was always saying hello to everyone. He seems like a nice man.

I saw Katarina Johnson-Thompson (athlete) and Noddy Holder (Slade) within 15 minutes of each other at a service station a few months back.

One of my nieces was once patted on the head by Paul McCartney, she was about three at the time. I sat at the adjacent table to Maggie Smith and considering she had a trained voice that could fill a theatre I couldn't hear a blumming word of the very clearly scurrilous gossip she was telling her companion. Shame on you Dame Maggie. This was the Chelsea Physic Garden where I also spotted Nigel Slater, not on the same day.

We were on holiday in Cornwall once some years ago and everywhere we went there was Laurence Llewelyn Bowen, it got a bit spooky in the end , I mean , I know he lived in the area, but we didn’t run into other residents four days in a row in random places.

About 20 years ago I met Jamie Theakston and Brian May on the same day, totally at random.

have a couple of celeb-ish friends now (though you’d only know them if you followed their industry) and they are the only celebrities I’ve spoken to since, I lucked out in one afternoon it seems 🤣

Oh except for a Cheeky Girl who was a fellow school mum 😂

I only know who James Acaster is out of your three, and I love him. He's a great comedian.

I hate to be that person, but I've worked with quite a few famous people, including Royals, so I'm not phased by them any more.

My friend was the meat in a cheeky girl exercise bike sandwich at the gym!

Go to local pubs in my area of north London in the 90s and you could see half the cast of Eastenders in one fell swoop!

I waitressed at an awards ceremony in the 90s and saw a few Hollyoaks and Emmerdale stars. Also Huffty!

Oh man the only celebs I've ever met are Katie price when she was Jordan and super hans from peep show 😂 not a list but i was super excited to meet super hans
