What Is wrong with me is I can’t equate the two.
I don’t agree with what kneecap said at all, but to have the same (or higher) level of reaction compared to 10s of thousands of innocent people being brutally slaughtered, starved and terrorised following decades of ongoing brutality is unconscionable.

It is a conflict. If hamas returned the hostages, stood down and handed over power to another palestinian group some progress may be made but they won't. They will hide among civilians then act all horrified when others are sadly killed.

Israel didn’t “leave” Gaza - it was essentially an open air prison. Whatever your beliefs, what Israel has done since Oct 7th 2023 has been utterly disproportionate.

All through west Belfast, the unionist areas are flying Israeli flags and the nationalists are flying the Palestine flag.

They’re using the Israel/Palestine situation to further their tribalism. It’s not surprise to me that Kneecap, growing up in that environment, are perpetuating.
