AIBU to think he's bloody sexy? He's lovely looking and seems to be so nice personality wise too. He can cook! He's certainly making my Sunday afternoon nicer.

@KittyMcKitty

"he paid them above MW and treated them pretty well"

With the prices he's able to charge, would you not expect him to be more beneficent?

For all businesses, it's always about the bottom line.

Not their personality or how sexy they are.

FishPie2 · 20/04/2025 16:56

Hugh FW - Google him and his hair fetish 😆
Spanish Chef Omar Allibhoy is good on the eye as well as being a brilliant cook.

Omg yes, and they'd find my lack of food and wine knowledge adorable - and each declare me their muse ☺️😏

I regularly daydream that I'm a new chef under tom kerridge. Its a joy working with him! Ha ha ha 😂

Gordon Ramsay???!!

Error

butterfly0404 · 20/04/2025 16:58

Met Marco at a book signing, he is sex on legs, alluring and an absolute gent. Nothing like his on screen persona.

He invited me and my DH to his gastro pub nearby, unfortunately we were on a time schedule otherwise we would have. Lovely man.

shuggles · 20/04/2025 16:58

@PinataHeeHaw Charging people a whopping £37 for a battered fish and 8 chips. What a lovely man.

PinkStarsandBlackWalls · 20/04/2025 16:59

Teenagequeenwithaloadedgun · 20/04/2025 15:19

The only time I hear about Tom Kerridge is when he charges extortionate prices for normal things. He's a complete chancer, so YABU

He is a jolly nice man. He cooked and delivered tens of thousands of meals to Key Workers in Bucks in Covid and still now provides food for those in need around his local area.

Yes I find Gordon rather offputting. It’s mostly his rudeness, which is never funny, just rude.

LongHoliday01 · 20/04/2025 17:00

He seems like a nice bloke and I like his kitchen.

I watched an episode of one of his programmes and he made an ‘easy’ recipe and then got out the blow torch and made it all fancy and it put me off as it wasn’t realistic I don’t think. I also heard his prices are over inflated.

Plus you'd have to watch your hair when you were sleeping...

Be safe and wear something for protection - a swimming cap

I think that's a persona. He's supposed to be lovely in real life.

I don't dislike him. Seems OK but I don't fancy him in the slightest.

Yanbu! 🤭🤭

He's on Sunday brunch next week

After james martin, he's the next sexiest chef 😄 - I'd maybe chuck Gordon Ramsey and Paul hollywood into the mix too

It's les Frenchies for me - Michel Roux Jr and Raymond Blanc!

Magnetic, magnificent, mercurial Marco!

The sexiest chef is sadly no longer with us

Anthony Bourdain

Can’t believe nobody else has agreed with this! Parts Unknown is an incredible tv show.

Snap,I find his programme's boring.

Mumblechum0 · 20/04/2025 16:13

I bump into him frequently around Marlow, always says hi and holds the door open when I see him at the gym (we seem to go at the same times), and a couple of weeks ago he was in the pub with another guy and a few kids, he was trying to get the kids to keep the volume down, and as they were all trooping out, he apologised about the noise to my mate and I.

so he seems like a decent enough bloke from what I see day to day.

we’re also regulars in the Coach and he’s often doing the cooking, or at least supervising which is more than a lot of the celeb chefs in Marlow do.

But he ruined the only decent normal pub in Marlow - O’Ds! And for that I will never forgive him!

A bit too snake-hipped for moi.

ArtemisiaTheArtist · 20/04/2025 17:04

Nope. Doesn't do it for me.

I hate how he turns my local park into a festival for monied drunk sorts every summer too (Pub in tne Park). The noise is unbearable. I can't go where I eant when it's on. (Insert four letter insult here)

I regret googling and finding out what he likes 😅

They’re all basically cooking a bit of dinner and expecting rounds of applause for it. Need to get over themselves.

Can’t stand Hollywood! He comes across as a man who spends hours admiring his reflection in the mirror.
“Who does he think he is?” springs to whenever I see him. Creepy and yuk!

SmallSoupcon · 20/04/2025 17:11

Completely agree with all the female chefs/cooks listed so far. Fabulous, engaging, talented, highly skilled, and don't appear to want to eat themselves like their male counterparts (who clearly think they're as delicious as their food) .

All the male TV chefs I've watched, including TK, come across as egotistical w*nkers in love with their own stainless-steel reflection, and drunk on the power of being in charge of their "brigade". I used to work in hotels, and I never met a male head chef who wasn't an angry, sweary, red-faced, offensive twat.

I liked TK when he competed in the early days of GBM. He seemed more down to earth then (or maybe that was editing?). He's so over-exposed now, and comes across as an arrogant, grumpy, humourless git in his judging. I'm not a big fan of Ed Gamble, but he's the only one who calls TK out!

TwoSwannits · 20/04/2025 17:15

PowderRoom · 20/04/2025 16:50

That came out meaner than I meant. I meant quite a nice type of oversized garden gnome.

Yes I know, absolutely no meanness intended on my part either, but there is undoubtedly something ruddy faced and very jolly about him, and especially with that accent....it's an easy comparison. 😁

Flamingoknees · 20/04/2025 17:15

OK, I've googled them all, the only one I find vaguely attractive is Omar Allibhoy, who I'd never heard of, so judging on pics only.
