Trans protest- sharing for balance

There’s a thread sharing some really awful images from the protest, so I wanted to share some positive ones for the sake of some perspective/ balance.
A lot of people are really understandably incredibly angry and overwhelmed by the events of the last few days. But most people who support trans rights absolutely don’t condone fighting oppression and injustice with misogyny.

please don’t pretend you care about trans men. The current situation affects them just as badly, although they are not your primary target re spaces. Healthcare is a different matter of course.

One thing I will say is that the people that follow this ideology are amongst the most humourless people I have ever encountered, so far up the backside of this nonsense that they bore people to tears.

Explain to me what I have in common with a trans woman? One thing.

No, men do naturally have a small amount of breast tissue. It's not common for them to get breast cancer but it can happen. They're still men.

Saying that a transwoman is a man will not make any transwoman disappear they will continue to exist

So are we saying that some perverts claim to be something they are not to enter women only spaces with nefarious intentions?

Come on - if transowmen are women - how do I know if I am a man, a woman, a transman, a transwoman or a cat ?

Actually the only people who have demonstrably cared about trans men are women who have wanted to ensure that they still have their rights, including to healthcare, upheld as the females they are, and to access to the correct services instead of having self harm, anorexia, trauma, sexual abuse and confusion about sexuality funneled into a gender service with one pathway.

That’s also not correct. Breast cancer in men - albeit rare - has always existed.

Women don’t have a target

The two beliefs go together for the terfs. They HATE transwomen with a passion. Read my previous post about the thread earlier this week.

It erases / denies their existence as a trans person. A society that organises itself around this belief (an transwoman is a man) and enforces it , is a society in which it is impossible for a trans person to live as a trans person.

This one I will object to - it's perfectly possible for a man who hasn't had any sex hormones to get breast cancer, just incredibly rare.

LOTS of people pretending to care about Transmen right now aren't there?

Transmen who manage to exist without being spotted as wowmn and without making men’s lives a misery - I suggest they carry on

transowmen tend to be more easily spotted somehow - anyone would like wowmn would have a reason for that

You are a perfect example of the falseness of most the trans movement. Not interested in any dialogue except forcing your opinion on others; unwilling to recognise the difference between someone disagreeing with you and fascism; profound intellectual dishonesty and most of all, a desperate desire for attention and forcing people to your own will, no matter the consequences or costs to them as long as you get your own way.

There's no point talking to a brick wall whose only desire is to topple women and crush them into compliance.

Nobody on here has said Trans people can't/don't exist
