Firstly, I'm a trans ally

Everyone is up in arms about trans women. What seems to be forgotten these people are human beings. Where is humanity. You have probably been sharing toilets and coming into contact with trans women every day and have no idea. You only hear about the few bad ones. In a public toilet, you go into a cubical and pee. Its not like you're sat there in full public view with your knickers at your ankles.

What has been forgotten also, as many females are changing to. So trans men. So you're in hospital in a ward. The woman in the next bed, identifys as George, clit is now a penis fully working and you're in the next bed! Same person can wander around female only spaces as the law has changed. George can now only be searched by a female. By the way George a transgender man is a pervert! All hypothetical but nobody has brought this up.

Just a thought.

This. They are vulnerable. Women have always been told to move aside or shut up or worse if they stand up to the TRA rape threats and violence.

Funny how the prison system will place males without a GRC into womens prisons but not risk women in mens prisons.

Note the police recorded the womans gender not sex so unless the police system has two individual fields for sex and for gender they continue to have a risk of this happening again.

An investigation has been launched after a woman was wrongly processed as a man and sent to an all-male prison.
The blunder occurred last week after the female inmate was passed into the care of the Scottish Prison Service (SPS) with incomplete information about their sex.
It is understood the woman was processed as a man due to her appearance.
Once the gaffe came to light at HMP Perth, the woman was kept in segregation overnight and transported to the female prison estate the following morning.
Police Scotland said it is reviewing its custody procedure to avoid a repeat of the incident.
The mistake occurred after the woman appeared at a Sheriff Court in Fife and was remanded in custody.
A force spokesperson said: "On Monday 21 October, an individual was passed into the custody of the Scottish Prison Service with incomplete information about their gender.
"We are reviewing our custody procedure to ensure this does not happen again."

I thought about how I could write a point by point rebuttal of this, but on reflection I don't think it is necessary. The sneering, belittling misogyny & contempt for women's boundaries is there for all to see.

And yes men ARE to be feared. We all know it, and the VAWG statistics confirm what we all know.

When pressing for men in women's spaces, it's always the biggest, most important civil rights movement of our time. When women object, it's always so tiny and insignificant a matter that they shouldn't be concerned with it.

The number of trans people in jail - and in particular the type of crime that they tend to be in jail for - is statistically significant.

It is significant because it shows that trans women are certainly no less likely to commit sex crimes than other men, and may even be more likely to do so.

The statistics can only mean the following:

A) trans women are more likely to be sex offenders than any other group

B) male sex offenders are likely to claim a transgender identity, either in order to commit crimes more easily or after they are caught

or

C) trans women are not more likely to be sex offenders than other men, but they are more likely to be caught and sent to prison

Even if the truth is C), you cannot get away from the fact that a non-negligible number people who are or claim to be trans women are sex offenders.

But when they do commit suicide it is often after the surgery when they found out that they were sold a lie.

Total nonsense. If this is the case and men can just assault anyone wherever they please, why do trans women claim they are safer in women’s facilities than men’s? The irony of calling us “idiots” after making such a comment.

I never or anyone I know has ever been assaulted by a trans woman in a toilet ITS A MADE UP ISSUE. I have been assaulted by men in broad daylight, in the street, in a club surrounded by people, at home, in relationships. Men are more of an issue than trans women, there are more of them too.

Equal rights does not mean "same rights". Ignoring trans people for a moment, women and men should have equal rights, yes? Equal in terms of employment opportunities, education, safety, yes? Not that doesn't mean that women have a right to use the men's toilets. It doesn't mean that men have a right to enter women's sporting competitions.

So what is it about trans people that gives them the right to opposite-sex facilities?

Oh, and while we are at it, why do you think trans women are women? I have nothing in common with trans women that I don't also share with men (2 eyes, hair, lungs...). And there is nothing at all that I have in common with all women and no men except our biology. It's certainly not a shared mentality or wearing a dress. So.... can you answer this?

Firsty, nobody hates trans people.

The thing about trans people, and it's usually biological men, is that they have the same rights we all have. But they want extra rights. Rights to enter spaces of the opposite sex. Rights to complete against the opposite sex etc.

George, in your scenario, is a woman. Women generally do not have a sexual violence streak considering 98% of sexual crimes are committed by biological males.

So it was OK for Karen White ( a man) to be put in a women's prison and sexually assault female prisoners because he's only one of the few men in female Prisons.

Would you tell his victims that their assault was not a problem because there's only a few men in prison
