Firstly, I'm a trans ally

Everyone is up in arms about trans women. What seems to be forgotten these people are human beings. Where is humanity. You have probably been sharing toilets and coming into contact with trans women every day and have no idea. You only hear about the few bad ones. In a public toilet, you go into a cubical and pee. Its not like you're sat there in full public view with your knickers at your ankles.

What has been forgotten also, as many females are changing to. So trans men. So you're in hospital in a ward. The woman in the next bed, identifys as George, clit is now a penis fully working and you're in the next bed! Same person can wander around female only spaces as the law has changed. George can now only be searched by a female. By the way George a transgender man is a pervert! All hypothetical but nobody has brought this up.

Just a thought.

My 11yo DD celebrated with me yesterday, and we went out for a celebratory lunch today. She is a boxer, and wants to do it at least semi-professionally and is good enough to. She will now never have to be in a ring with a man. Or a changing room. It was something to celebrate.

My 13 year old son was so happy too. He knows how ridiculous the whole thing was, he resented being told a pack of lies by a teacher at school. He’s fed up with time in school being taken up by it all.

Tell that to the woman who was raped by a transwoman in an NHS, but the police did not investigate because the NHS said there were no men present.

Tell that to the victims of Katie Dolatowski who targeted children in women's toilets.

You can call youself an ally, but youre just a common or garden misogynist, because even if transwomen didn't present a danger to women, which they very clearly do, there is no excuse, none whatsoever for appropriating women's identities.

You don't see women as deserving of our own identities. You don't understand the oppression of patriarchy or the weight of the male gaze. To you, women are just lesser men with lipstick and long hair.

George is a woman. George is welcome in woman's spaces because George does not represent a danger to women. Nor does his NOT FULLY FUNCTIONING penis.

In fact to drive home the fact that women need women's safe spaces because of the danger that men can present to women, George would be very foolish indeed to use a male toilet.

George would also be very foolish to try to compete in male sport (not that he would be fast or strong enough to be selected, what with being a woman and all), because George would probably get seriously injured.

Should he embark on a life of crime, George would also be exceedingly foolish to demand incarceration in a male prison because George would probably not come out alive having been raped in every orifice.

The majority of trans-women are very sensitive and need women to protect them from those hairy fuckers who pretend to be trans - for a myriad of fucked up reasons - the new law helps us do that.

I'd like to think that men are also as accepting of trans-men too.

Yet in establishing safeguarding risks we do actually assign the same risk level to all male people above a particular age. So effectively that is labelling an entire group as high risk.

And because there is no evidence at all that male people with transgender identities at any stage of transition are less risk than the general male population, they are very much included in that group.

If a transman is convicted of a crime do you think they should be sent to a mens prison and be treated exactly the same as all the other prisoners?

Trans rights should not be at the expense of other rights & women’s safety and rights which have been fought for.

And to say trans women are biological women is like saying the 🌍 is flat.

Can I ask you why you think trans women are women? Women is defined by biological sex assigned at birth, not by gender identity. I cannot identify as a different race.
