Trans people

Firstly, I'm a trans ally

Everyone is up in arms about trans women. What seems to be forgotten these people are human beings. Where is humanity. You have probably been sharing toilets and coming into contact with trans women every day and have no idea. You only hear about the few bad ones. In a public toilet, you go into a cubical and pee. Its not like you're sat there in full public view with your knickers at your ankles.

What has been forgotten also, as many females are changing to. So trans men. So you're in hospital in a ward. The woman in the next bed, identifys as George, clit is now a penis fully working and you're in the next bed! Same person can wander around female only spaces as the law has changed. George can now only be searched by a female. By the way George a transgender man is a pervert! All hypothetical but nobody has brought this up.

Just a thought.

For the third time....no 😂😂

Do you accept men are a risk to women?

Do you accept men are a risk to women?

Some are yes. Just like some women are a risk to women.

TheLadyMaud · 17/04/2025 20:27

ilovesooty · 17/04/2025 20:23

Yes. Two posts which I thought were transphobic and which were deleted. I'm merely pointing out that if posters ask for the worst examples, they can't be quoted as they no longer exist.

Brilliant, so your claim that this site is a hotbed of transphobia rests on the evidence of two posts you reported and that were deleted for breaking site rules for being transphobic?

HighLadyofTheNightCourt · 17/04/2025 20:27

Some are yes. Just like some women are a risk to women.

Not on the same scale though are they? And it's disingenuous to suggest they are.

Nameychangington · 17/04/2025 20:27

Dandie55 · 17/04/2025 20:17

we can tell they're really women

I don't believe people always can. I've seen some trans men who pass as regular men in my life, I wouldn't know they were "really women" in the toilets. What proof do they show that they legally should be there if asked? Or are they still allowed to use the male toilets?

Honest to god I've heard more about transmen in the last 24 hours than in the last 10 years. No one gave a shit about them til now, weird eh?

The transmen i personally know look like short skinny young teenage boys. I've yet to meet one over 5'2" or over the age of 20. They're not using men's public toilets because they know full well they'd be in danger there. Just like no transmen were put in mens prisons, just the violent male sex offenders who found their true womanly identity after they were arrested were put in the women's prisons. Transmen are women, and therefore only exist to meet the needs of men, of whatever identity.

You do realise btw that if the ruling had gone the other way, transmen would have lost their right to protection from maternity and pregnancy discrimination in law? Apparently all the organisations who are so concerned about transmen today were fine with them losing right yesterday, as long as men could be allowed in women's single sex spaces. Really makes you think.

I think you need to reread my posts. Obviously thats worse than this thread - but that doesnt mean this thread isnt bad.

Something being 'not as bad' doesnt make it ok

Page 13. You said that this thread was the most hateful thing you had read in a long time. Another PP linked to the "terfisaslur" website asking if you really meant that this thread was more hateful than the website. You replied that while the website (which details men's graphic fantasies about raping and killing women who won't agree that transwomen are women) was not acceptable either, but yes.

HazelShark · 17/04/2025 20:25

Sorry - ate you saying they post an equivalent risk??

Facts would disagree with you here.

1 in 4 women are victims of DV perpetrated by men
1 in 5 women are sexually harassed by men
1 in 10 women are raped by men with their penis

The female on female violence stats don’t even come close to touching this.

So do you accept men are a risk to women?

You cant label entire groups of people as something

I didn't say that the site was a hot bed of transphobia. I merely pointed out that it's impossible to quote the worst examples if the posts have been reported and deleted.

HazelShark · 17/04/2025 20:29

You can say that men as a class pose a risk to women as a class

Do you understand what that means?

Dandie55 · 17/04/2025 20:30

Of course, but that hinges on the idea that you always clock them as a trans man and not just a man, and I'm just wondering what happens when they are mistaken for a male, particularly if their identification has been changed to male etc. I just wonder if this might make people bolder in challenging those where they are a bit unsure on their sex, as the law is on their side now and what actually happens in that situation.

No one gave a shit about them til now, weird eh?

I have a relative who is a trans man so I always did. Might be the motivator here tbh. But yes of course I've seen trans men that don't pass, but in online spaces I've seen plenty that very much do. Met plenty of short males in my time too.

I suppose the ones that do pass will just carry on using the men's toilets if they do so already actually.

JandamiHash · 17/04/2025 20:31

If there’s ever a reason TRAs are just thinly veiled misogynists it’s when they gaslight us into thinking men aren’t that dangerous and women are just as bad.

Well yes it’s easy to pass on online spaces when no one can see you in person. I could be a 14yo boy for all you know

Could you explain why you thought the use of the laugh emoji was an appropriate response to my pointing out that I didn't claim what you said I claimed?

JandamiHash · 17/04/2025 20:32

@HazelShark why do you keep laugh reacting to my posts? Do you find the rates at which men rape women something to laugh about?

HaddyAbrams · 17/04/2025 20:33

ilovesooty · 17/04/2025 20:21

I can recall at least one thread on here where someone challenged a person using a toilet who appeared masculine but turned out to be female.

My sister has been questioned, not harassed, as she's very androgynous looking. Along the lines of "sorry, this is the ladies"
"Yes,I know" and a soon as she speaks she's so obviously female that the questioner apologised immediately. My sister laughed. No harm done.

She said she'd rather be questioned a billion times than a man be allowed in the ladies.

My son on the other hand has been called various transphobic slurs in the men's. He's not trans. Rather than apologise when they realise he's male men double down and call him awful names.
Hopefully this ruling means more TW will use the mens (as they should) and men will accept that they should be there and leave them alone.

Interestingly enough, my actual TW friend has never had anyone question them in the male or female toilets!

safetyfreak · 17/04/2025 19:46

Its sad that the extreme left have increased transphobia.

I always supported trans rights until they invaded onto women rights, and you got the weirdos pretending to be trans to get at women.

I think it shows their male privilege that they cannot see why women would not want men in their private spaces? The only trans women who should be in female spaces are the ones who had bottom surgery, otherwise keep out.

Not even those ones. They can stay out too.

Again @HazelShark for someone who has pearl clutched about “waaah meanies on this thread the most hateful thread I’ve seen” - you keep laugh reacting at my posts about women experiencing rape. Is that not hateful? What’s your definition of “hateful”?

HazelShark · 17/04/2025 20:29

That’s exactly what safeguarding does. Obviously it doesn’t mean every single person in a particular demographic is a risk, just that they’re statistically far more likely to be than X,Y and Z groups.

Dandie55 · 17/04/2025 20:36

My quote function isn't working, but I do realise that and I'm not saying I disagree with anything, just thinking about how things will work in practice that's all.

JandamiHash · 17/04/2025 20:36

MissScarletInTheBallroom · 17/04/2025 20:33

Not even those ones. They can stay out too.

Agreed.

It would only encourage healthy people to mutilate their bodies. Which I don’t think anyone should have to do. GRS has low success rates and high risk, no one should be forced into it simply because it doesn’t make them any less of a man or woman

ThatCyanCat · 17/04/2025 20:36

Interestingly enough, my actual TW friend has never had anyone question them in the male or female toilets!

Which means your friend is safe in the gents. Overwhelming likelihood is that women are aware your friend is not female but they're either sufficiently socialised to Be Kind or, more probably, they're scared too scared to say anything.

JandamiHash · 17/04/2025 20:38

TRAs really show their true colours on this thread. The so called champion of human rights - unless you mention women being raped and they think it’s funny, and tell you men aren’t a problem, that women are as bad (I wonder when @HazelShark said women are a risk to women, he meant transwomen too?)
