Trans people

Firstly, I'm a trans ally

Everyone is up in arms about trans women. What seems to be forgotten these people are human beings. Where is humanity. You have probably been sharing toilets and coming into contact with trans women every day and have no idea. You only hear about the few bad ones. In a public toilet, you go into a cubical and pee. Its not like you're sat there in full public view with your knickers at your ankles.

What has been forgotten also, as many females are changing to. So trans men. So you're in hospital in a ward. The woman in the next bed, identifys as George, clit is now a penis fully working and you're in the next bed! Same person can wander around female only spaces as the law has changed. George can now only be searched by a female. By the way George a transgender man is a pervert! All hypothetical but nobody has brought this up.

Just a thought.

James OB and all of the other men banging the drum for transwomen's rights make me sick. WOMEN are entitled to single-sex facilities for their dignity, privacy, safety and fairness in sports.

I don't give a sh!t what trans-supporting MEN have to say about it. These are not their rights to give away. They're my rights, my daughters', my granddaughters', my sisters', my friends...

Keep your entitled, privileged, male beaks out of my single-sex spaces and STFU because we've heard more than enough from you and it's over. We're taking back our spaces, our services and our sports. #SexMatters

u ok hun?

I've had a look at the website so you don't have to make the effort! Not as bad? This screenshot was taken from the very first page btw. There are many, many more for you to peruse.

Id suggest catching up on my posts

Trying to use transmen as some kind of gotcha is in such poor taste. None of these people cared a jot about transmen before they were in some way useful in an argument. George is female, he’s very welcome in women’s spaces.

And George will never have a working penis.

I reported two posts yesterday for hate speech which were deleted. In practice it is difficult to quote transphobic remarks when they no longer exist.

There are around 20,000 posts a day on here apparently.
And you are claiming that you reported two now deleted ones.

Hate speech should always be called out and dealt with. So good for you.

However, two alleged offensive posts are hardly convincing evidence of trans hatred rife on this forum. It's just evidence of two people (at most) being knob heads. Presumably being dealt with by the mods.

Two people max. Out of the many, many, thousands using the site each day.

Clit is now a fully working penis?

Bollocks

George doesn’t have bollocks either.

UndermyShoeJoe · 17/04/2025 16:54

Mens bodies penises and all don’t belong in women’s spaces.

They can use a third space if they don’t ironically feel safe around men.

Also lesbians don’t have penises.

Edited

This in it's entirety, thank you

Hey chicken George is sad now he definitely has bollocks

AshesofTime · 17/04/2025 19:44

Can anyone tell me why men who don't feel safe in spaces with other men are taken so very, very seriously, while women who feel the same way aren't? More than that, they are called hateful and worse? All of this despite the fact that women are the ones actually at the most risk from males?

Please, someone make it make sense!

Merrymouse · 17/04/2025 19:44

HazelShark · 17/04/2025 19:29

Im not saying any of that is acceptable. But neither is this.

This was acceptable at a public meeting attended by Scottish politicians.

In contrast, Scottish Green MSP Ariane Burgess complained that even discussing single sex spaces in parliament is transphobic.

There has never been a way to talk about the single sex exemptions in the equality act without acknowledging the fact that a trans woman is not a woman.

Can you not see how damaging that has been to women's rights?

How do you discuss Isla Bryson without talking about his sex? Or any of the 'women' who turn up every week in the local press, courtesy of the court reports, having suddenly discovered post conviction that they are trans?

Its sad that the extreme left have increased transphobia.

I always supported trans rights until they invaded onto women rights, and you got the weirdos pretending to be trans to get at women.

I think it shows their male privilege that they cannot see why women would not want men in their private spaces? The only trans women who should be in female spaces are the ones who had bottom surgery, otherwise keep out.

Worth noting that the two front and centre in front of a sign calling for violence against women are Kirsten Oswald MP (then Shadow SNP Spokesperson (Equalities), and Shadow SNP Spokesperson (Women) and Kaukab Stewart who at the time was a member of the Equalities, Human Rights and Civil Justice Committee.

The institutional capture of the Scottish Government meant that such incitement to violence against women was essentially backed by the Government. Our elected representatives.

The whole thing has been fucking chilling.

I was stating the legal ramification of todays ruling, without bias or emotion.
The Supreme Court ruling is not a carte blanche for ‘women only options for everything’ , and most importantly ( at least for your point) it does not prevent transwomen , men, or grizzly bears using the women’s toilets. That isn’t what the equality act is for. It states that everyone should have essentially similar access and opportunity except where a special characteristic overrides this or warrants particular consideration.

We're not talking about "everything". We don't need women-only workplaces, or cafes, or buses. But the judgement is quite clear that women-only spaces such as toilets and prisons, which have existed for, what, a century or more, should actually be women-only and should not be accessed by transwomen. How this will play out of course remains to be seen. But hopefully, if women complain to staff in leisure centres, hospitals or anywhere else about males in their spaces, the staff will now actually support the women in ejecting the men instead of dismissing their concerns.

Oh, and everyone does have similar access to toilets*/prisons/changing rooms - of their own sex. They just don't get to use the facilities of the opposite sex.

*actually no, women have much less access to toilets than men as there's always a bloody queue

ohdearagain2 · 17/04/2025 19:49

None of this is about individual people.

Not all adults are pedos but we as a society have structures in place to try and protect vulnerable children from the minority of adults who are pedos.

I have no doubt the majority of trans people are lovely - but there are sick males in this world who claim to be females so they can access vulnerable females and children. And quite frankly I don’t get why anyone of any gender would not want to stop this from happening.

Statistically biological males are more prone to violence and sexual assault than biological females and no one can deny that.

I think we need to get to a place in society where it’s common place and accepted for biological males to dress as females and biological females to dress as males.

Really what we need now is discussions around how the trans community can feel safe too. But the answer is not to allow biological males access to female only spaces just because it’s easier than coming up with an alternative.

The clitoris is used in the making of the penis.

Not with you at all OP. Single sex spaces are important and protected by law.

minuette1 · 17/04/2025 19:50

You have probably been sharing toilets and coming into contact with trans women every day and have no idea.

I very very very much doubt this. Even with extensive surgery and other modifications, you can always tell.

I don’t want castrated men with inverted penises in women’s spaces either. They are still men.

What I don't understand about all these idiots going on about no penis in female places is what is to stop any man wandering in a female toilet right now, if that's what they want to do. If they want to go in a toilet and molest someone, which tbh most of them don't bother to go to that effort to molest someone, then they can? There's no bouncers on the door. What is the issue. Are you all terrified of men if you are say alone with them other places, like at work, or seeing the doctor or dentist or something. You are all so embassing.

Well, quite. And what's even the point of writing a few words on a piece of paper saying that men aren't allowed to rape women - they do it anyway, and 99% of the time they get away with it. We all should just give up entirely, not just with safeguarding, but with the whole concept of laws in general 🤷‍♀️

JandamiHash · 17/04/2025 19:53

Teddlesisagoodboy · 17/04/2025 19:17

How many men are going to go to the effort of dressing up as a woman to go in a woman's bathroom just so they can molest women. Get a brain and a life!

You think this hasn’t happened before?

Futurehappiness · 17/04/2025 19:54

AshesofTime · 17/04/2025 19:15

You know what gets me about this debate? Why it only applies to sex. If I said I identified as being 21 again, no one would let me change my birth certificate or passport. They wouldn't let me go to youth groups for under-21s.

If I said I identified as black woman...well just look what happened to Rachel Dolzeal.

If I identified as a rabbit, they wouldn't build me a hutch or let me roam around the local estate as nature intended. They'd probably commit me!

But, none of those things are any more or less possible than a man becoming a woman.

If able bodied athletes started identifying as disabled and winning at the Paralympics I wonder what the reaction would be. So why is it OK for male bodied people to participate in women's sports?

Because men's feelings matter and women's don't. Men are actual humans and women are support animals. This issue has really brought out into the open his much some men hate women, and how precarious our rights really are. We can only have stuff if men don't happen to want it just now.

This thread is this most hateful thing ive read in a long time

Why won’t you answer why I’m not 21? I identify with being 21, I feel like a 21yo, I think 21 is the best version of me. So why am I not 21?

This thread is this most hateful thing ive read in a long time

I expect that’s because it gives some clear and unambiguous details about the reality of genital surgery and outlines some of the less acceptable motives for transitioning, of which people may have been unaware.

But education is a wonderful thing, is it not? We were forever being told to educate ourselves, and we did. So here we are.

Im just not sure how that relates to my post that you replied to? Which was to say that the 'they should just chose not to be trans' line is what we used to say about gay people

JandamiHash · 17/04/2025 19:56

HazelShark · 17/04/2025 19:22

Thats not acceptable either but yes. And theres a lot more than 2 people here.

Where the hate?

Does hate mean “Not acquiescing to the incorrect notion that people can change sex”? Why is that hateful?
