Wanting to look good and be a 10/10 girl? Men specifically?

1000 replies

ThisChic · 04/04/2025 20:48

People always criticise others for caring about their looks, but let's face it, we all appreciate beauty and strive to look our best.

I feel as though most women can be seen as '10/10' if they have good hygiene and skin/make up, i.e the whitened teeth, hair extensions, glowy fake tan, slim and big breasts.

I feel like I have a few obvious flaws; small boobs is the main one, but also teeth and hair that could be 'glowed up'.

I see that 95% of the women on TikTok on Instagram with 100 - 500k followers are just slim, tanned women with big boobs. All different facial features, but heavily made up, thin and big boobs.

Am I being unreasonable to want to make myself look hotter by fixing my flaws?

I would make any decision for surgery for myself anyway, but I just wonder what peoples' thoughts are!

In my experience most men prefer slim women who aren’t too bony, whatever their actual shape.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 07/04/2025 16:45

@ThisChic - why do you think incels speak for all men, or even a majority of men? What is it about them that makes them more credible than the people who have posted their real life experiences on here?

I think it is seriously screwed up to value the opinion of incels over anyone else.

StrawberryDream24 · 07/04/2025 16:51

I just thought that they were telling the truth about what most men think

Why would they be an authority on how most men think?

It didn't occur to you that they have issues, or resentment, or an agenda etc ?

I'm not sure how old you are but it's time to get a bit more skeptical in life.

Time to recognise that loads of people talk a pile of shite, and loads of people lie.

How come you didn't notice that the two princes of this country both married small boobed brunettes, in spite of being able to marry any woman they want really?
Do you think princes need to settle - men who are hunted from childhood by women and their families.

The prince, now king of Spain - also married a good looking brunette with small to medium bust. He was tall, good looking & another supremely eligible bachelor ..... Why would he have to settle?

The last two princes of Monaco - yes, their wives are blond haired but no big boobs in sight. Princes of Monaco generally don't have a problem attracting women. In fact I think Albert has about 5 kids by various women, all probably hoping he'd settle with them. They were still coming out of the wood work when his wife was marrying him.

Take things with a pinch of salt .... especially from people who identify as an unhappy, dysfunctional, alienated group.

You also have the wrong attitude to sex/a sexual partner at this time - fixating on whether your boobs are acceptable to them ... And not whether they are kind, respectful, easygoing, interested in two way enjoyment, have skills are or willing to learn skills to help you climax, not bringing porn expectations/standards into a real life sexual situation etc etc.

One of the reasons incels can't get it, is because they think about women all wrong. You are literally pandering to the lowest form of male ego.

Myengagementring · 07/04/2025 18:04

Not all men find the same looks attractive though. Some men like the fake look that seems to be popular, some like slim women, some like bigger women etc. We've just got back from a city break in Spain and my husband actually commented how nice it was that none of the local women had fake teeth, loads of contoured make up, hair extensions etc, they were all incredibly natural and we saw some beautiful women. The only women we saw with the fake look were English and American.

StrawberryDream24 · 07/04/2025 18:15

Samantha Fox was barely 16

And ended up marrying a woman.

They were busy objectifying her and wanking over her ....while she is actually not even attracted to men. They are sexually & romantically irrelevant to her. It's kinda ironic.

ThisChic · 07/04/2025 18:27

@Hortus So many posters have told you that those incels do not speak for all men, they speak for themselves

I know this now, but when I started this thread I felt as though they were just 'saying what others are too polite to'.

@Tiswa Why do you want to be attractive to all men? Surely just being attractive to some is enough and then just to one you spend your life with.

When I said all men I really just meant a majority, because I always thought that there was quite a lot of consensus among men on what attractive is.

I'm not ready to get into a long term relationship just now anyway.

Obviously that consensus is influenced by society/culture....

@BaggyPJs I don't want to appear to Page 3 fans no, they're all 50+ men (although there are some handsome middle aged men I'm not really looking for that...)

When I was referring to things like Page 3, Playboy, Hooters, lad's mags like Nuts, Loaded, I was just using them as evidence that men prefer larger breasts on a slim, actually quite straight body.

I know that lots of posters here have shown that many men don't, but I think the idea of a 'conventionally hot, sexy woman' in British and American culture is basically what a Playboy model is.

I was just explaining what I meant there....I didn't intend to imply that I want to attract Page 3/Zoo magazine fans.

I know. She was literally just famous for having big boobs....and showing them of course....

The men probably didn't (don't for her middle aged male fans!) care that she's gay anyway.

i think there is a general consensus and it tends to be young (sadly!) and within a range of body type (slim to curvy) and breast size. As I said the pictures @StrawberryDream24 showed were a spectrum of men - within that people are going to have preferences that narrow it down

breast size is always going to be a narrow choice.

would you consider therapy I really do think you need it

ForZanyAquaViewer · 07/04/2025 19:58

This thread really demonstrates that you can’t reason someone out of a position that they didn’t reason themselves into in the first place.

You’ve had sensible, logical responses refuting the nonsense you’ve said. You’re not able to fully engage with them.

Once again, please strongly consider therapy.

StrawberryDream24 · 07/04/2025 20:32

She was literally just famous for having big boobs

And for inflicting horrendous pop music on us.

StrawberryDream24 · 07/04/2025 20:39

When I was referring to things like Page 3, Playboy, Hooters, lad's mags like Nuts, Loaded, I was just using them as evidence that men prefer larger breasts on a slim, actually quite straight body.

But what percentage of men do or ever did those things?
And even if they did, that doesn't translate to who they'd have sex with given the chance, or who they'd get into a relationship with.

And as we've already covered - even lads mags didn't only women with big boobs - they had women with medium boobs like Denise Van Outen and Louise Rednapp, and women with smallish boobs like Sophie Anderton.

Anyway those things represent the lighter end of the sex industry.
The sex industry is not relationships and it's not even casual sex.

And the sex industry is always going to vere towards the more extreme in everything;
bodies and activities.
Why do you think most of the successful male porn actors have gigantic cocks lol.

The sex industry doesn't necessarily reflect what people find attractive for sex, let alone relationships.

Sex is not just about random body parts, for most people. (Even casual sex).

It's about finding the person overall attractive and vibing with them.

(Also, do you realise that you're saying - in reverse - that because the Chippendales and the Dream boys exist and women go to them on girls nights out and hen do's etc.(and have gone for years).that most or all women's ideal looks are like the Chippendales, and they're the only type of men they'd want to have sex with and they only have sex with men who aren't like Chippendales because they can't get men who are like them........
That doesn't make any sense. And is obviously very far from the truth).

I don’t want to appeal to the Incels. I just thought that they were telling the truth about what most men think.

The comments sections on social media are rarely a representative sample of real life attitudes.

Another famous, wealthy, successful, top tier looks actor (Italian heartthrob Michele Morrone) whose choice of wife is not big boobed.

I mean, look at the pictures of him; he clearly had to settle, right?

Edited

I must say, I've realised while browsing that I made a mistake and that this is not Michele Morrone's wife, it's his co-star.

His wife, now ex wife, has a bigger bust but it's not BIG.

I think taking relationship advice from incels would be about as useful as taking diet advice from a fat person. (I say that as a fat person)

I agree.....I wasn't really looking for relationship advice from them , just views on what men find sexy, but as we've established in this thread they don't represent all men.

Possibly I wasn't reasoned into my hatred of my breasts and belief of what men find sexy or not. I'm not the only woman/girl to feel this way, though.

I can't shake off beliefs I've held for years now, even though I can accept the evidence/arguments people have put forward on this thread on a logical basis.

The points about personality though - of course that's important, but I was purely focusing on improving my body as I'm a kind person anyway. I just want to look sexy because I just want to.

@WhenYouSayNothingAtAll

You're right mens tastes do vary, but it's still a tiny minority (3.4!) who like A cup breasts. However they imagine A cups to look. Most prefer C and C is a decent size, C can look big on a very thin woman like Emily Ratajkowski.

The majority of men (48%) preferred a C cup, 20% a B cup, 18% a D cup , 7% a DD cup, 3.4% an A cup , 0.7 a DDD cup and an equal amount (0.8) preferred a E cup and an AA cup.

I do accept your point though.
