To ask you to show me your butter dish

Following from the (ver popular!) thread about butter I started s few days ago, I decided I want a butter dish to start keeping part of the butter outside the fridge.
Need inspo, how about a show me a pic of your butter dish thread? 😆

I have this one but I don't know where it bloody is so this is a stock image.

I have the pretentious tw*t Alessi Ship shape one in yellow and green. The top part is a butter knife that sits in the lid.

It fits French oval shaped butter packs perfectly. If I buy a square butter pack I just ram it in upside down.

I quite like the pretentious twat Alessi one, it's cheerful. I am laughing at the fact that you can buy it new for £27 but some chancer is trying to sell an old one on ebay for £125!

I also have a smaller a glass one with a cow on the lid, but it doesn't fit a 500g block of butter like the Emma Bridgewater one does.

Like a few previous posters, I also dislike the domed lid type, they get too messy. This is mine, got the pic from an ebay listing.

@Costcolover haha, I've only just noticed it said "Have a nice day" on it when you mentioned it! 😀It probably shows how much it stands out when you look at it! To be honest, I don't really mind as I only really usually have butter in the mornings, so in a way it's probably not a bad thing to see first thing in the morning anyway (if I notice it!)

If you really didn't like that part of it, I think there are lots of other similar ones to buy 😊

It is very cheerful. Lots of people comment on it when they visit and I've ended up buying some family members one because they loved it so much.

Never paid 125 for one though! I bought theirs on Amazon and mine in a kitchen shop years ago. I wonder if the yellow and green colour is discontinued and they are chancing it? 🤔

I wouldn't part with mine though.

This is mine but I didn't buy it from this site (not that it matters).
We use it in reverse to the picture though, so that the thin bit sits on the worktop. Fits a standard 250g block perfectly.
