DD relationship with 50 yr old

I have found out my DD is in sexual relationship with a man who turned 50 in August and she is not far off turning 25.. I think he is using her and how can I convince her to stop seeing him, she actually has admitted feelings for him, aibu to think this is so wrong? I can't stand this.

When I was around your daughters age, I was in a relationship with a similar age gap. We had a child together and did ultimately split up- but believe it or not
the age gap was literally an irrelevance, both in our relationship and our separation.

In our case we both earned well, so there was no financial imbalance, we had shared interests, and were well matched in terms of worldview etc.

Ten years on we’re still in touch, of course, as coparenting etc and talked recently about this very subject (friends with similar gap getting married, much of chagrin of family) - and still both feel the age gap between us was the last “thing” in terms of issues (of which we had a few!) But that was about us as people, not us as numbers of candles on our birthday cakes!

We all fancy people beyond looks. We are talking about 50yr old creeps with 25yr old women. It is gross.

She might marry a "gorgeous young man" after the relationship fizzles out. She might marry that young man and he kills her because he's an abusers unlike the older man she's seeing.
