AIBU to feel completely distressed by the viral video of the aftermath of onlyfans worker Lily P 'sleeping with' 100 men?

MumOfOneAllAlone · 11/12/2024 09:48

I've tried to word this carefully.

Lily, an onlyfans star, aged 20something I'm guessing, slept with 100 men in one go, as part of a documentary.

Following this, she's on camera crying. She says her eyes hurt as some of the men ejaculated in them, despite her saying no.

My heart is broken for this girl. Im a feminist but I've never thought of sex work as being empowering?

Surely, the empowerment of sex work has failed this poor girl? And surely the 100 men who agreed to do this are criminals???

I'm so angry. You could see in the video that Lily is realising what a mistake this was and is very traumatised.

Anyway, didn't see a thread on this so thought I'd post. My heart goes out to her, and my brain feels very angry at those who failed to protect her.

The irony.
She wasn't sexually assaulted, she had consensual sex.
You don't think blurring the lines to the extent you have could prove problematic for women who HAVE been sexually assaulted???

She said a man (possibly more than one) ejaculated in her eyes when she asked them not to.

That is a sex act without consent. It IS sexual assault.

And no because I know what sexual assault is.

Play with fire, expect to be burned.

Picoloangel · 11/12/2024 12:19

I remember years ago watching a documentary about a woman who was trying to set some sort of record for sleeping with the most men in a day or something similar. It was so disturbing. On paper, it was consensual but it was difficult to truly see it as consensual. I can’t explain it but it was very troubling.

Mary28 · 11/12/2024 11:13

I am not in two minds about sex work. The number of people who are truly doing it because they want to do it and not because they are disturbed or have no other option must be pretty tiny in reality.

There was a documentary some years ago called the Annabel Chong story about a porn star who had sex with over 200 min in 10 hrs. It showed her telling her parents about what she was doing, her mom balling, it showed how she made so little money from doing it and the AIDs tests she did after it. The men lining up, wanking themselves in order to be ready to penetrate her as she lay there. I've never seen anything more disgusting in my life. It actually disturbed me and put me off sex for some time. It turned me off men so much. It's clearly a publicity stunt and I hope she's the one making money out if this and not anyone else. Putting yourself in danger like this for money though? She's not well in the head, even if it's greed and stupidity, I feel sorry for her and her family.

I've just googled her and I think she's the same one who likes to take the virginity of 18 year old boys in exchange for filming it and posting it online. I think she's also a groomer and exploiter of very young adults. She's got a very warped way of thinking anyway.

100%.

Why would I feel sorry for a girl who goes on podcasts bragging about sleeping with guys that have just turned 18. OP you talk as if she’s a victim but no one forced her to sell her soul for money. That’s her decision and she seems happy to brag about these sex experiences on the internet

YouMeandBrie · 11/12/2024 12:22

You mean the men who willingly stood in a queue to pump and dump an Only Fans girl on camera didn’t behave like decent respectful gentlemen who really liked her and wanted to treat her like a princess? I for one am shocked.

SassK · 11/12/2024 12:23

FuckItItsFine · 11/12/2024 12:17

@SassK Right?! Essentially “she asked for it”. So, by consenting to some sex with these men she deserves to have men ejaculating in her eyes, which she didn’t consent to.

Edited

She consented (nay, organised!) a free for all. There's nothing to be gained by presenting this circumstance as within the consensual norms.

@SassK Sorry I tagged the wrong person I meant @Msmoonpie .

Anyway I’m hiding this thread as it’s making me so depressed.

ChubbyBubbyBoo · 11/12/2024 12:25

Tbh I’m a little in awe of her. I wish I’d done something similar when I was younger and made millions. I feel like I put myself an almost as bad situations anyway without the pay day!

unclebuck · 11/12/2024 12:26

A man I know commented "did the last one in stir the porridge"
which I think says it all.
WTF is wrong with the men signing up for this?
I think Lily is being paid by OF to groom young women into sex work.

I apologise, I mixed up two different women. This isn't the one. The filtered to fuck photos of each of them look basically identical.

This might have been the case that I am remembering of a young woman who had been kidnapped from the subway and raped by a group of men. She reacted to it by saying she would reclaim her power and organised the mass event and filmed it all. It was early on in the internet porn explosion I think. The initial sense of reclaiming power she got from this was soon replaced with extreme distress at what had actually happened. I don't know what happened to her eventually or where she is now. I hope she could get to a good place for her.

As for the men and the eyes. So many boys and men now who have grown up on a diet of interent porn seem to want to finish on the face and get the power kick from it. It sounds like this woman, similar to the last, has had a false sense of having power and control but actually is being horrible used and objectified and is at incredibly high risk of disease and infection with permanent physical as well as mental consequences from fluids entering via the eyes. All incredibly sad.

This woman is almost entirely unique in her endevour. She has 36,000 subscribers in a world of billions. It's not worth becoming depressed about.

needsomewarmsunshine · 11/12/2024 12:28

No sympathy, no one has made her take the 'challenge' on. It is demeaning and degrading to women. Full stop.

True, but imo it's depressing for our young girls/women in the same way that the existence of Andrew Tate is depressing for our young boys/men. The entertainment industry runs on shock value.

Thelnebriati · 11/12/2024 12:30

Unpopular opinion - the distressing documentary videos of women crying after a bad experience in porn is a porn genre.

Really?
I was reading recently about the shelf life of porn actresses and the physical side effects of their job. And what happens to them after their short lived career at the high earning end of the industry finishes.
No money is worth it imo.

dixon86 · 11/12/2024 12:32

Some women will do anything for publicity

How sad

GoldsolesLugs · 11/12/2024 12:33

I don't think sex work can really be feminist or empowering for women as, in our society, it is mostly based on male consumption and female supply (I know I'm generalizing here, but I think it's a reasonable generalization).

Having said that, you could see something like OnlyFans as empowering for people who are already sex workers as they don't have to deal with being exploited by pimps (only by a faceless corporation) and they don't actually have to have sex with the clients.

SilverDoe · 11/12/2024 12:36

Whathappensnowplease · 11/12/2024 11:59

If the woman values herself so poorly that she wants to go out and sleep with 100 men in day then she has the right to do that.
But it is faux naivety to think that when women take part in these stunts they aren't playing into societies misogynistic view of women.
She is giving all the signals that her body is just there for men to use.
I really despair of a feminist narrative that turns this into a positive thing for women. She is selling her body and reinforcing misogynistic stereotypes.

That's not the point I made though is it.

I'm not disagreeing with your paragraph here, but that's a completely different line to perpetuating the notion that women who engage in consensual sexual acts, are allowing, or should expect, men to sexually assault them by performing non consensual acts, is absolutely not okay, and is a shameful take for a feminist.

I doubt it - most women would be horrified at something like this. There are lots of articles like this this one in local papers. I think these are viral marketing for OnlyFans.

She probably has enough that she never has to work again. You’d only have to work a year and get over five million if you were on six figures a week and if you invest that then you are set for life if you are sensible. Which she probably isn’t but that’s her problem.

But why are people getting so up in arms about her getting bodily fluids in her eyes when she’s filming herself shagging 100 men in 14 hours? So fucking what? Yeah you can tell them you don’t want them to finish on your face but shock horror some of them might do that anyway. I guess that’s the risk you take when you do these things. It’s not remotely on a par with people being raped and actually sexually assaulted.

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 11/12/2024 12:37

No decent man is going to be up for doing these 24 hour shagathons, they are all going to be women hating arseholes that get involved.

///

I agree to a degree but actually they are still probably "normal blokes" - someone's dad, brother, husband. Misogyny is often closer to home than we realise
