I think Gregg is autistic and people often hate autistic people without knowing that's why.

It seems cruel.

I mean fine to not like him, but that level of vitriol seems childish unless he’s really done something vile I don’t know about.

What did John do to his ex wife? I’ve always quite liked him … but don’t like men who are awful to their wives.

But at least we can all agree, I think, that Monica is a total legend! She’s just the right side of lethally furious when someone does something daft. It’s just her whole demeanour: she’s awesome.

But yes I’m seeing there is a bit of baggage.

For us he made it a family show (!) only because our Dc thought it was hilarious when he says “ I could eat ALL of that “ in a greedy voice or even just “that’s yummy!” I guess some audience members find the “you didn’t cook out flour long enough” type commentary less entertaining. He added the greedy pig element which isn’t wholly unsuitable on a cooking programme.

Mind you I reckon they could get a bit more out of Monica on that front! You can see she sometimes can’t peel her eyes away from a really good dish!

he's literally just been suspended due to historic allegations. I know someone who worked behind the scenes on one of his shows, and he was known to make very crude and disgusting remarks to people, make fun of appearances, etc.

I remember looking it up after my friend told me he was a wrong'un and there was a load of stuff on Tattle (I know, I know) about his sexual comments, so it's obviously been known for ages!

To be honest though, he’s often the one that says “ well I’d happily eat all of that” after the contestant has had a pasting from the others.

I can't stand him. They used to film near my house and I saw him in the street once. He just looked sweaty and weird, grinning ear to ear at me?! I was like 'erm, hi?' he seems like such a sexist pig. That article about his daily Sunday regime was hilarious. 🤣

The people who run the Beeb think that some loud mouthed know nothing is just like the majority of their viewers, so we will all not feel daunted by the high intelligence and impeccable morality of all the other people on their channels.

That’s a bit tasteless to bring his little boy into it. And his current wife seems to have hard times healthwise.

Its not wrong he’s being investigated if there’s a basis but surely people won’t find digs involving his little boy funny.

It's a dig at him, not his little boy. Did you see his interview where he basically admits to ignoring the boy and finding him a burden, although not in so many words? It was absolutely jaw-dropping how much he seems not to care about that kid.
