Why is he still on master chef?

I can’t watch anything with Greg on it. I always thought he was an awful presenter. I don’t know why the BBC always sticks with the same people for years.

Masterchef was best when it was Lloyd Grossman, and they had three contestants who cooked a three-course meal, with a winner declared at the end of every episode They drag things out too long now, trying to amp up the competition, and inserting loads of useless filler.

I remember Lloyd Grossman and the much shorter version of master chef ! It was on Sunday afternoons and was actually good.
Greg sounds in hot water although I'm not sure what he has actually said or done

I had the (dis)pleasure of meeting GW at an event about 6 or 7 years ago. He was vile and shouted at me, I told him not to Fing speak to me like that.

Yeh, punching way above his TV weight. Ex grocer (had a prog on Radio 4 about that many years ago) and plays on his connection to John Torode too much. He has a whiff of entitled neediness about him. I imagine whatever he's done or said to offend will be minimised as banter.

As for Marcus, he lacks a little charm....didn't like him on Sat Kitchen the other week. Monica I'd go for a drink with!

As for GW I'm surprised that anyone is really surprised about this. He's always given off an air of sleaze under that cheeky chappy illusion.

And it's not just that but there seems to be a different iteration of the show on every week. How many versions are there now? Thankfully, I only ever have to endure it if I'm visiting my parents and it's on because they won't miss it. Even they thing Gregg is a twat though.

Any thread I've ever seen in Telly Addicts is like that - the same set of people with a lot of chatter and self congratulation at how funny they think they are. If you go there expecting discussion you'll be disappointed.
