I'm glad you had a lovely time with your daughter, much needed x

Your sister?? I have no words!! Why would she do that?
Don't give it head room lovely, it's not worth it

It's v true that you can choose your friends.....
Xx

Thank you @Munchyseeds2 it was the best surprise ever. And it was lovely not only getting a real cuddle but a cuddle from my daughter . It meant everything.
I really don’t know why my sister did that, we havnt spoken since she told my ex where I was. And I’m unsure why she wants brownie points from him and I am upset about it but nothing surprises me anymore . I’m going to get over it and move on xx

Hello! That's fabulous that you've seen your daughter!!! That must have given you such a boost! As to your sister and the baubles - that is outrageous!! I love that you are already planning a new collection though - and the spoons!!

I have had a very lazy day! A small bit of tidying the garden (which looked like it had been left to its own devices for months - which it pretty much had), and then a great deal of watching TV on the sofa. I wouldn't want the sofa to get lonely! 😀

Hi @ChoccieCornflake , it’s brilliant news isn’t it . It’s honestly made my day . To say that my week started horribly it turned out better than I could have imagined. I’ve got a safe roof over my head and I’ve seen my daughter.
Your day sounds lovely, do a job and then rest . Sounds like my cup of tea. I hope you had some biscuits too xx

I’m not feeling all that well. I get a lot of cystitis and needed antibiotics from doc on Thursday. Passed extremely blood stained wee this morning. Might have to phone doc again tomorrow. Also have a headache and sore throat and the last I had that it ended up being really nasty Covid.

Awww @Apolloneuro you are really going through it aren’t you . Bless you.
I absolutely hate cystitis it’s horrid , please make sure you phone the doctor in the morning though , having blood in your wee sounds worrying .
Have you got any Covid tests you can do?I really hope it’s not Covid and you start to feel better soon xx

Ruralretreating · 03/11/2024 22:36

Imbluedalale · 03/11/2024 20:45

Isn’t it @Ruralretreating I was so happy to see her . My son texted me earlier and said he feels guilty and he wishes he had seen me but I told him not to feel guilty if your poorly you need to rest . I wish I was able to look after him , I hate the thought of him being under the weather and I’m not there.
Your visit from your friend sounds wonderful and I’m sorry to hear your having struggles. You sound like a wonderful parent.
Im so sorry to hear your missing your father, I can’t imagine how hard that is. I’m always here if you want to talk/vent. Thinking of you xx

Thanks Laura. I was thinking of you today and taking some inspiration from your determination. I appreciate the offer of chatting too.

Fireworks night was always a time I really loved as a child, and used to do a special thing with my father, so it hits me every year (over 15 years now), and comes shortly after the anniversary of his passing in October. Sadly I’m nowhere near as good a parent as my father was. He never lost patience, I lose it daily.

I’m so glad the visit from your daughter went well. That news has made me so happy. You haven’t lost them, remember that. This week really has been a rollercoaster but I am so happy you and spoon still with us and making progress.

Thank you Ruralretreating,
You know what my emotions are all over the place at the moment. I am so so glad that I have seen my daughter today but it has made me feel sad too. And it’s made me miss my children even more. God what’s wrong with me?
I’m always here to talk to, sending you huge hugs xx
I can imagine it’s a difficult time of year , special occasions are always hard .
Your father sounds like a wonderful man and don’t put yourself down, we all lose patience. I sit here daily and think of the times I didn’t have patience with my children and wishing I could take it back and feeling immense guilt if I could turn back time I would but I can’t, nobody can. Don’t beat yourself up about it , you’re an amazing mum ok, never forget that xx

Good morning @nornironlady . Just waiting for my ambulance . I didn’t get even 10 mins of sleep last night so it got to 5am and I decided to get up. Just on my second cup of tea. I hope it dries out for you later . Have a lovely day xx

Good morning @PeggyMitchellsCameo and everybody else . I hope you’re ok and ready for the week. I’m just listening to Pink , Try, whilst I’m waiting for my transport.

Love this part of the Pink song , I put a playlist on and this is first song that came on today …

Where there is desire, there is gonna be a flame
Where there is a flame, someone's bound to get burned
But just because it burns doesn't mean you're gonna die
You've gotta get up and try, try, try
Gotta get up and try, try, try
Gotta get up and try, try, try

Here’s to another week let’s hope it’s a positive one for everybody . Big hugs xx

@PeggyMitchellsCameo I was thinking the same on the timing and that everyday is another day closer to being with your children Laura. I hope the hospital goes well today and that it's a nice journey not stuck in traffic jams! A change is as good as a rest and all that. @Apolloneuro I hope you start to feel better soon.

Munchyseeds2 · 04/11/2024 08:49

Morning lovely (and everyone else!)
