The missing crunchie…..
So I woke up this morning, pottered about , had a wash, got ready , watched a bit of tv , tidied my room and then thought ‘I know what, I’ll have my crunchie chocolate that I bought yesterday’ , put kettle on , made brew and reached for my crunchie that I put on the table. It wasn’t there! I started searching for it , looked everywhere , started looking in places it wouldn’t be , under every crevice even looked in bathroom. Nope it wasn’t there. Then thought ‘somebodies took it, somebody has come into my room and taken my crunchie’. Anyway as a last resort I looked in the bin, there was an empty crunchie wrapper ! I’ve eaten it in my sleep , what the hell? I’m now consoling myself with the realisation that I’m a sleepwalking binge eater 😟xx

We all want our daughters to be strong, confident and determined women. It’s just a little tricky when those women are still 4!

It made me think. This lady had posted yesterday she was heartbroken for her DH as he’d been taken advantage of by his ex. Previous posts paint a picture of a lovely lifestyle filled with luxury.
Her updated posts are horrific won’t go into details here, very upsetting.
This sounds like a very together, professional lady, lots of financial resources.
It really is happening everywhere.

Hopefully she take some action in a while, when the shock has worn off xx

Was once given a sleeping tablet. Woke up feeling a bit woozy and that I’d been up in the night.
My dad called.
He burst out laughing.
I had tried to give myself a DIY spray tan in the night only I’d only done my right side.
The other side ended up all over my lovely Laura Ashley wallpaper!

You sound so amazingly strong Laura. Playing the long game with ex. I bet he thought his little scheme would flush you out and make you contact him but no! He’s just nothing, bitterly bothing. Turn it to your favour that he’s doing things actively against your son’s interests that you can use and use the extra time to make your lovely house extra nice for him ❤️. By that point surely he’ll be totally fed up of being with your ex with no friends or school or interesting stuff to do anyway!

@Apolloneuro 🤣🤣 at your extra 4 year old DGD, she sounds amazing! Love that she thinks she’s Beyoncé 😆. My nearly 4 yo is a bit extra at the moment. DP: “DD is it bedtime?” Dd: “daddy, I’m just drawing! You don’t need to worry about me!”.

That thread people mentioned sounds so hard. The things abuse does to people 😔. I would bet the punch isn’t the first sign but they go gradually, applying control bit by bit.

Glad your good @RaspberryBeretxx , your 4 yo sounds adorable. I love that age, they learn so much everyday and their character really shines through.
Thank you for thinking I’m strong, I do feel a lot different then I did a month ago that’s for sure, it’s all still hard especially being away from my children but that’s out of my control at the moment and whilst not being with them hurts my heart every day I know that what I’m doing now means that we can have a better happier future going forwards and they can have a happy mum not a mum that they see is upset with tears in her eyes because ex has just told me that his biggest regret is me not jumping off the bridge when I had the chance or that I’m too weak to fight cancer. I don’t have to wake up each day wondering what mood him or his mother will be in with me, I can rest when I need to instead of being called lazy and I can start building relationships with my family again without ex making it hard . His parting words to me were that he was going to destroy me but I actually think that he planted me instead xx
