Fabulous house, Laura! Wishing you very happy times in your new 🏡 . You bloody deserve it😊

nornironlady · 11/11/2024 17:37

@Imbluedalale I've made it through the working day with some good news for a change. Management wanted to increase our time in office from 1 to 2 days per week but there isn't actually enough desks to accommodate more than the one day we do so that was a relief for many. Womens Aid offer grants too. I only had a quick look but I'm sure you are eligible. I will text a link xx

Looks delish. My niece says you need to add a bit of mayo 😅.

Weekend was good. Didn't get up to much though. Have a very quiet life, which is fine by me.

Hope you're feeling OK. Remember to rest yourself and don't overdo thingsBrew

😂😂😂😂I don’t do mayo , I even have a McChicken sandwich from McDonald’s with only lettuce on . Im not a saucy person really.

Im glad to hear you had a good weekend , I’m same as you love a quiet chilled no drama life although the drama has entered the building with all its aunts, cousins and second and third cousins this year.
Im feeling ok thank you got anxiety today but I can’t expect to feel fine everyday but at least I know now it’s just a bad day not a bad life xx

Such exciting times the house looks lovely and as you recover you can explore the woodland ut hasca very healing effect on mind and body. I just came to day maybe you could paint one wall teal as a homage to Tealpoet! Fingers crossed for a quick move in date. This situation has restored my faith in humankind and the power of miracles.

Hi @Playgroundincident , I hope you are ok? Thank you so much , it really is lovely and hopefully if my leg gets better I’m going to definitely go on some walks in the woodlands.
Im definitely going to pay homage to @TealPoet and also have lots of spoon themes in homage to all of you too. It’s a miracle isn’t it , all the help and support and kindness, I’m stunned by it all tbh . And I’ll be forever grateful xx

Hi @RaspberryBeretxx , sorry I didn’t respond sooner my internet is playing up today so I’m stood outside where there seems to be the only signal 😂
Thank you so much it’s lovely isn’t it . I literally cannot wait now. I’ve shown my children the pictures and they said they love it. I love that it has a downstairs loo and a shed 😂
This time next week hopefully I’ll be in it . I hope you’re having a good day?xx

No worries at all. Love the look of your chips and drinks. it must be good to get out of the hotel room a bit. How are the breakfasts?

I know what you mean about hot drinks. I had a Pepsi max at soft play today as I was thirsty and a coffee wouldn’t have helped! I also went to Lidl. Dd was thrilled as there used to just be one mini trolley so you had to be lucky to get it but now there are about 15 😳. I can’t quite imagine the chaos if all 15 were being driven about by demented preschoolers at the same time 🤣.

That’s great that you can get planning with furniture, white good and grants. Hope you get all sorted. So so lovely that your children are excited and love the pics. I’m really happy for you all. Tomorrow it’ll be only 6 days! Xx

Evening @RaspberryBeretxx , my chips and drink (s) were lovely thank you I’m stuffed now though. It was really nice to get out of the room for abit and the restaurant has a big glass wall at the back looking out over the lake, very peaceful .
Oh I used to love going to soft play when my children were younger. I could sit and have a nice hot and cold drink and watch them have fun, although they would return sweaty messes 😂
I used to love the tiny trolleys in supermarkets they are so cute! I’d love to see 15 demented preschoolers running around Lidl 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My daughter , she’s 17 now and she has really bad OCD and when she comes food shopping with me she re-stacks the trolley into neat piles as I’m throwing it in 😂 so I have to walk around with all neat piles in my trolley .
Thank you so much for your support and for being happy for me , that’s so nice and makes me feel warm inside . 6 days tomorrow woo hoo xx

I love the running elephant 🤣🤣. When I was reading your message I was trying to work out whether you were referring to demented preschoolers or what 🤣.

Ah, that’s sweet that your daughter likes a neatly stacked trolley. To be fair, I’d quite like someone to stack my trolley neatly 😆.

It was nice at soft play today as not too busy for some reason. It is nice to sit in peace for a while 😁.

Hope you have an amazing sleep 😴 xx

Hi @Apolloneuro , how are you today?
Yeah about the running elephant I’ve no idea how it got there ??When I posted it and looked and saw the running elephant I had to look again incase my eyes were deceiving me . Baffled 😮
Glad you’ve had a nice day , I bet you love having your baby granddaughter and the little one and I bet it’s a huge help that you do that . I hope you got lots of kisses and cuddles xx

lol at the elephant - fitting for the toddlers IMO! Fortunately my OCD has never affected how I load a trolley but I can see why it would. Poor girl! But the joys of being able to do your shop, cook your food, live by your own timetable in your own space - I can’t wait for that for you!

Sorry @RaspberryBeretxx I was worrying I had offended you with the running elephant but I honestly don’t know how it appeared on there . Maybe because I typed running my phone thought ‘I know let’s associate that by adding a running elephant in pink converse ???😂😂😂
Oh having the trolley stacked is quite annoying as it takes you longer to get round as you have to stop at every aisle for a trolley check .
Glad you’ve had a nice day , it’s always nice to sit in peace . I’ve just been reading take a break magazine , I love it because you can read some of the stories and think ‘my life isn’t so bad after all’ . Just been reading a good story of where a woman was working at a beauty school and she gave one of her students one of her kidneys (she didn’t just pluck it out and hand it to her it was all done surgically and above board ) and they ended up falling in love and getting married . Now I’m sat here thinking what happens if they get divorced would she have to give her the kidney back? My thought process works in peculiar ways xx

Hi @itsmylife7 , thank you so much for your lovely post . It’s funny because I’ve never felt strong, when I first got diagnosed my ex’s first words were ‘your not going to be strong enough to fight this your too weak’ but now I do feel like I’ve got little bits of strength in me xx

Yeah my daughter also has a thing with light switches and checking windows are closed. She’s had a rough 2 years bless her , I was in hospital last year for 7 weeks with my depression, whilst I was there her grandad passed away, then I got cancer , then her great grandma passed away , all the stuff with me and my ex and then me being made homeless . She’s gone through a lot bless her xx

That’s so lovely and heart felt , thank you so much. You know I’m starting to think that him kicking me out was the best thing he could have done for me. Don’t get me wrong it’s been absolute hell at times and I’ve broken down more times than I’d like to admit but now I get a chance to be me again and be happy and for my children to have a happy mum xx
