Wow, it’s lovely! How exciting! That garden is a lovely blank canvas to use however you want. Nearly there now! Did you get lunch and go to Tesco?

Laura your house looks amazing, colours sound fabulous and I am so very happy for you. It even has level access so you will find it easier to enter and exit the doors. Garden is a great size, especially for a new build. How lovely will it be to sit out there in the summer.
I will try and put a photo up of my room once the decorator has finished but I am going to wait until the January sales to buy my carpet and bed.xx

Yes I had a lovely lunch thank you although couldn’t eat it all , also went to Tesco and got some bits like noodles , bread cakes and breadsticks and dips . I didn’t get any colouring books though as it was closing in 10 mins so mad dash to get what I needed . Well I say mad dash but it’s was a mad dash for me with a crutch lol 😂 I was taking longer steps 🤣xx

you are just going to have the most amazing time, and has been said, that you are the first person in there will feel so much more special. just listening to Come Back Home from the Greatest Showman right now and it's making me smile of thinking of you in just in over a week!! xx

I really love the kitchen and can’t wait to see the rest of it . Thank you so much for being happy for me that is so nice and brought tears to my eyes. Who would have thought a month ago I’d be talking like this?I can’t believe the difference between now and then . And you’ve all been there through it all.
I’ll honestly never forget any of you! You’re all very special to me you really are.
I know the level access is great isn’t it , I’m having some adaptations made too such as bath support and things like that.
I love the garden and it’s a lovely size . Right across the road there is a 3 mile woodlands walking trail , hopefully if my leg gets better I can go on it .
I don’t blame you with waiting for sales , I’ve got to book somebody to come and measure the rooms to get flooring fitted xx

Yes it’s a semi . I thought it was detached as per description when I applied but I don’t mind , it’s a home and it’s going to be mine. And yes it has solar panels. Thank you @Munchyseeds2 .

It's great that it's got some flooring and that you can use the loft for storage....and the downstairs loo will make life easier

That’s ok @Munchyseeds2 , the flooring in the kitchen is lovely, I haven't seen the bathroom or toilet yet. I know having a loft will be handy but can’t use it for 12 months but I have a shed.
Having a downstairs loo will be a godsend!

Awww that’s so lovely @TealPoet thank you so much. This year has been absolutely traumatic but look what’s come out of it . A new home , a fresh start and meeting all of you . So I’m thankful for that xx

Good Monday morning to the Spoonies 😉One week to go @Imbluedalale that is so exciting I bet. With only 7 days, if there is anything you need help with just ask. As long as it involves helping from behind a screen I'm yours! I'm finding it a wee bit hard to get going this morning but it's a WFH day so I can get myself together for leaving the house tomorrow. I will get my hair washed later and make myself a bit more presentable for the world beyond my front door 😄

Thank you so much for your offer of help that’s so kind, I have to see my support worker to see what I’m able to apply for , I was meant to see her today but her little one isn’t well and she had to go pick her up from school. Hope you enjoy washing your hair, I hate doing mine it’s too thick even after loads has fell out . I’ve got all tufty bits at the front and sides and haven’t any hairspray so I’ve been using my face spray to seal them all down 😂I look like I’ve had a mini electric shock on my hair xx

Hi @Munchyseeds2 , How’s your Monday going so far?
I really hope it does too, I’m not going to be staying in a hotel room for a while that’s for sure 😂, however I am very thankful I’m here but having a home means I can have my children with me again that’s the main thing . My support worker is going to help me apply for furniture I think it’s called white goods so kitchen stuff like fridge , cooker and washing machine. I’m not sure yet but she did mention about grants so hopefully I may be able to get some more furniture with that if not I can manage without for time being and get it as and when I can .
