Positivity only....Mine is that I can eat a double burger in 4 minutes

I also have 2 degrees from Cambridge but its more extraordinary that im able to annihilate a cheap greasy kebab shop treat like a rabid hound in literal minutes

I turned my life round completely at a young age when I became a parent for the first time. 25 years and 2 more children later I also have 2 degrees and am an expert in my field. Also got out a very toxic marriage and found happiness and peace. I laugh every day now.

Everyday that I manage to get out of bed get washed and dressed is a massive achievement especially if I manage to actually leave the house

I passed my driving test on my 13th attempt. I'm not a bad driver, I just suffer with horrific test/exam anxiety. The important thing is that I did it (finally).

Crippling fear of failure until I met my now DH. I can acknowledge I am a good Mum/person now and have completed a Masters in Creative Writing whilst working full time with 2 kids in school- I loved every minute of it!

I rarely feel stressed even when my life is clearly stressful to outsiders

I can walk and walk and walk for miles and not get tired, even though I am a bit overweight. My body's only muscle memory from my skinny pre-kid days is cardio.

I know every word from every episode of friends

I've found life a real challenge without many positives.
BUT my one shining achievement is how well my son has turned out. I'm really proud of him and I like to think that if I did one thing right my love and support helped enable him to be the balanced decent, happy and successful adult he is .

Just sat my grade 8 cello today having taken it up in middle age 5 years ago. So proud of myself and had to overcome so many demons to do it.

This might sound stupid and not much of an achievement but neither of my 2 kids aged 22 and 15 have ever asked me if I love them, completely different to my experience of being a child and a young adult.

I learned to cartwheel for the first time in my forties.

Thank you! I was so proud and relieved! I was also 31 when I passed, now 40, so driving for 9 years.

A few of my tests were when I was heavily pregnant and could barely turn to check my blind spots. I got so sick of taking a pram on public transport and was utterly determined.

11th for me! Very similar, absolutely blank as soon as I was in a test - couldn’t even remember left and right! Weirdly, academic exams have never posed a problem.

I am a founding member of a women's organisation that recently celebrated it's 15th birthday.

Raised my child alone whilst working FT and training in a profession. Bought my own home. All with NO financial assistance from anywhere ( although I did have an overdraft until recently)😀

Can't think atm but came to say I LOVE these types of threads 😊
