Am I too old for a Pandora charm bracelet?

I'm touching 40. I wanted a Pandora charm bracelet about 15-20 years ago when either they became really popular or I first noticed them. I didn't bother as they were expensive ish (especially to me, a pauper at the time) and really common.

Anyway, I recently bought my 13 year old daughter one (around the age range I feel they're manufactured for) and I've been completely taken in by their marketing and how good they look on DD, her friends, the store girls all of whom are a good 2,close to 3 decades younger than me and the idea of cute little treats and easy gifts for everyone.

Is it a kids thing and I'm past it or are they still cute? Is there a grown up version? 😂😂😂

I think it's ok to keep and wear one if you've had it from a young age but to buy one now is a bit "live, laugh, love"???

If you like it get it.
to me it never made financial sense - I calculated for the cost of charms etc I can get something much nicer from Tiffany etc. but that’s me. You do you.

You're only 39! Hardly one foot in the grave

I have one and close to your age. Of course you can have one. No age limit. Loads of different charms you can get.

Have a look at trollbeads instead. They're beautifully crafted and there's such variety.

I’m 30, and got a Pandora Moments bangle (pictured) for my 21st birthday and got a few charms bought afterwards too. I still wear it and don’t feel “too old”. Go for it OP!

My mums almost 60 and asked my dad to buy her a bangle a few years ago for her birthday. She’s not too old for one either.

I think it's the brand rather than the item.

Sorry, I wasn't clear - mine is a Pandora bracelet and I love it, the charms were all gifts and mean a lot to me.

If you like them and it will make you happy, get one. Who the fuck cares what other people think?

There is no age range anyone can wear Pandora. They are quite expensive and I don't know any 13 year olds that can afford/have disposable income for jewellery. The bracelets are absolutely beautiful and quality of the gold and silver is really good, some of the charms and pricing are hit and miss but there is something for everyone. The clips are cute I got a bracelet and clip and am looking forward to new releases this summer autumn etc

No there isn't any age for the Pandora market anyone and everyone are welcome. It is a very personalised buying experience and the charms & clips are such a good idea. I hope you are not put off with a preconception you would be missing out.
