Oasis ticketmaster issues

Is anyone else getting unreasonably mad that the ticketmaster site has completely crashed whilst trying to secure oasis tickets?!

I still have over 26,000 in the queue ahead of me. Not sure why I’m putting myself through it 🤣

It's annoying I can't buy other Ticketmaster tickets as I have to join a queue when I want ABBA Voyage

I can't understand that they are saying that tickets have to be face value but then Ticketmaster is allowed to sell by dynamic pricing for a lot higher prices. Obviously there is going to be a high demand when tickets go on sale, it all seems a bit of a nasty con, I'm not interested in getting these tickets but this is not a good thing.

42,000 in front of me - and I am not paying more than £200 per ticket so I am probably wasting my time!

Yeah. I got to the front and it said tickets were available but there was nothing to select so I’ve shut it all down. I’m enjoying my afternoon now, unburdened by queues!

£357 standing - no thanks!

I got to 24000 in the queue then it kicked me out.... 🫠

Ticketmaster keeps logging me out now, every time I join the queue due to 'inactivity' 👍

Well I went on at 11am, at 4pm it tells me they are just redirecting me to the website. I would say that my excitement cannot be exceeded, but I'd be lying. 🤣

Went for a 2 hour nap (of sorts)

Same. Got to the front, nothing under about £300 left and we couldn't select them or check them out anyway. Given up! Oh well.

I’ve just got to the front after over 8.5 hours (crashed multiple times) and as soon as I could browse tickets it booted me out again. What a fucking waste of a day.

Same! Infuriating as I queued from 9am to 3pm. I even took the queue shopping with me to Aldi!

It took another 20 minutes to get to the Oasis tickets part from saying I was about to join the queue.
So 11-4pm virtually queueing to join a queue. Makes Alton Towers look good anyway.

I was up at 3:40am (in the US), joined queue for the queue, got into the numbered queue at 9:24, ‘my turn’ at 10:29, found tickets after search. Went to pay and booted me out. Now can’t get back in. It’s 11:21 now. My sister in the UK got 2 tickets through the ballot, we needed 5 total. So tired and pissed off. What a waste of time

Nonsense. Much older artists have residencies in Vegas. Oasis don't exactly prance around the stage, they never have!

I managed to get to look for tickets but they were £356 each for standing. Not paying that, so that's that.

Yes basically this. I'm ok with not getting tickets. I'm annoyed I queued for nearly 8 hours to get thrown out as soon as I enter.

Yeah this was me. Absolutely gutted tbh when I missed out on pre sale and queued for hours.

it takes the piss when they bash the touts and say “tickets should only be resold at face value”…. Unless it’s Ticketmaster who can use dynamic pricing???

It isn’t Ticketmaster who decides whether to use the dynamic pricing facility, it’s the band and the tour promoters. Be mad at them.

Exactly! £400+ for 1 seat high up in the upper tier from ticketmaster when I’ve looked! So I’m not going.

I think the point was that the band have been criticising those reselling at ridiculous prices - yet they’re using ticketmaster who are no better with their ‘dynamic pricing’.

I didn’t miss the point. My own point was, it’s the band who is being greedy, not Ticketmaster.

We queued and passively checked form 8.40am. We entered the queue to get onto the website and waited and then much later in the day but can't remember the time we were in an actual queue with numbers but we were over 500k in the queue. People started dropping out if the queue 20k at a time and we went from 160k to able to sign in within about ten mins. However, at 15.50, DP got kicked out and suspended as he was a suspected bot. I assume they were doing this in 20k blasts. We used my phone and went straight to the buy a ticket page but once we clicked on the date, it just kept loading. Then it just kept loading and we gave up.

I've seen a post on threads that standing tickets weren't available but a few hours later "in demand standing" were £350 odd as if they held some back at an increased price.

It was only DH going but I somehow got invested in actually getting a ticket. Disappointed for him.

I personally love their songs but think they're bellends and their greed here is a cherry on the greed cake.
