Oasis ticketmaster issues

Is anyone else getting unreasonably mad that the ticketmaster site has completely crashed whilst trying to secure oasis tickets?!

That's the queue for the website

The blue loading bar is slowly getting there, I should be in by 12 at which point it will have sold out 🙃

I went in to the queue at 12000 for Wembley and it's only down to 9300 it's taking so bloody long!

Or just in time for them releasing more dates!

Ticketmaster app finally working

I had that screen but then it just booted me out and now I can’t get back in! Forget it

We’ve had a pretty smooth journey so far but are only trying to get them for friends, we can’t go because of the age restrictions/no childcare.

Yep that's a queue just to get on the website itself. There are other queues with numbers for tickets. Those queues are ridiculous so unless you're really lucky i don't think you'll get a ticket sorry 😔

I didn’t get into the presale yet I have a friend who has got tickets in pre sale and him/his wife got tickets for two other dates as well in today’s? Frustrates me

The way tickets are sold nowadays doesn’t work. It needs updating. For example why can’t they make it so you enter the ballot and get given a random appointment time, you then have to log in at that time, verify you’re a genuine buyer and buy a ticket. If you miss the appointment time, the ticket goes back into a pile for people who didn’t get a ballot place. That way the bots and touts can’t buy up all the tickets and websites aren’t crashed.

Ticketmaster should have the infrastructure to cope with this, it’s not as if it’s the first time tickets have been in demand.

And anyone who pays over inflated prices for resale tickets is the reason why over inflated resale happens. I hope those tickets are cancelled. It’s the only way to stop touting.

Currently 34,000 in the queue, think it’s dropped by 3k in the last 40 minutes.

Not holding out much hope, the stories of the site crashing and people being kicked out the queue is ridiculous! There has got to be a better way than this.

No business is going to invest loads of money for these one off mega popular concerts. Its like Taylor swift. There aren't many of their concerts that see this crazy level of demand. Ultimately all the tickets will be sold somehow

We are currently 135,915 in the queue. At least we're in the queue I guess...

Still in queue for Dublin with no update since 9am. Up since 6am, joined waiting room the second it opened and got a queue number of 199k. I’m currently down to 147k, sitting at the laptop afraid to even go for a wee 😂

I was 2500 in the queue, it crashed when I tried to select tickets, I’m back in now but 10’s of thousands in the queue.

It happens every year for Glastonbury Tickets and other one off events too.
These companies have no motivation to increase infrastructure for a handful of ticketing events each year.

The band have already stated that tickets that appeared overnight on resale sites will be cancelled. As much as I personally dislike mobile only tickets, it’s a system which is starting to cut down on touting.

Everyone who has tried to get a GP appointment for the last few years will have sympathy.

Tbf they usually very clearly say one device only - that's for the specific purpose of trying to reduce bots!

I’ve been trying on gigs and tours for as long as I've been on Ticketmaster and that is just refreshing but not loading.

I’m just gonna saunter down to my local record shop for some paper tickets, a la nineties.

I'm at the buying tickets stage for Dublin but it's been whirring for half an hour so not sure it's going to happen. Ticketmaster is crap.
