Is anyone else getting unreasonably mad that the ticketmaster site has completely crashed whilst trying to secure oasis tickets?!

Has anyone actually got tickets?

I was waiting in the lobby and kicked out saying I was a bot. Now queuing for the website. Husband is 98k in the queue. It must of sold out by now but don't want to close Ticketmaster.

sunburnandsangria · 31/08/2024 10:25

I've not been able to even get into the Ticketmaster website. Queued to get in from 8am, got to front of queue and it crashed - got an 'Error 503' message and was chucked out.
Trying to get on gigsandtours.com but it's been a holding message since 8.05.

So annoyed. I missed registering for the presale because it wasn't mentioned in the original announcement. I was then busy all day and it closed before I heard of it. Then it was reopened and closed again before I could get to it. It seems you can only get tickets if you're glued to a screen and have nothing else to do with your life. Sigh.

Started in the queue at 9800. Just got tickets for Friday night at Wembley. Only the restricted view ones would load so went for them at £166 a pop 😳. Am pinning my hopes on OCS supporting for that money.

sunburnandsangria · 31/08/2024 10:27

Viagogo is offering tickets at £7.5k each 🤬

jigglypuff772 · 31/08/2024 10:33

Anyone know whats left for Wembley on the 30th? 12k in the queue and budget is £100 for 1 😅 this is so stressful!

overgrowntoddler · 31/08/2024 10:33

Where does it say one device per household?

We did one device per ticket master account.

I'm 14560 now

socks1107 · 31/08/2024 10:34

I'm in the queue, but not sure now I want to pay xxx for high up seats. I'll see when I get to the tickets but I'm not paying for rubbish seats!

littleroad · 31/08/2024 10:36

I’ve been in a queue since9am. Joined at 114000 in front of me and now, 90 mins later, there are around 102000 in front of me. Feels as if they have people manually processing sales 😂

My dd has been suspended, didn't like her browser. She was no 400 in the queue. Poor thing is heartbroken.

Actually, she got to no 1.

She's sending a complaint.

TinyGingerCat · 31/08/2024 10:36

DS has just managed to get three (couldn't get 4) at Wembley - nose bleed seats at £101 each. Standing was £380! Weren't given a choice where they were. DS was 10,000 in queue at 9am.

Stopandlook · 31/08/2024 10:39

There’s no hope now, right? I’m still in a queue to get to a queue….

Snackpocket · 31/08/2024 10:40

I've given up. Couldn't get around the error without refreshing and going to the back of queue!

Same, I’ve resigned myself to being in it for the experience of trying at this point!

TheChosenTwo · 31/08/2024 10:41

The amount of influencers that ended up with gifted tickets to see Taylor swift (multiple times in some cases!) was mind blowing, you just know that hoardes of these tickets will go to them and that they haven’t had to queue for a queue!
I’m not bitter about Taylor, wouldn’t have wanted to go myself but I will be bitter about Oasis 😂

Not saying she shouldn't complain but they won't care unfortunately.

FlangeBoil · 31/08/2024 10:42

I've selected seats and it's been on the 'confirming availability' page for about 5 mins. Anyone else had this?

The same for Glastonbury!

I’m just gonna saunter down to my local record shop for some paper tickets, a la nineties.

If you were serious you'd have been queuing outside two hours before the record shop opened

Snackpocket · 31/08/2024 10:41

Yeah, she knows it's futile but is gutted so I think doing something is helping.

I've told her to go see 3 better bands for the same money.

Sadly it’ll be futile.
A cynical part of me suspects the sites deliberately engineer these issues to increase the hype.
I don’t think many people think the tour will go ahead anyway, or at the very least most people think that it will be cut short.

…has anyone heard Liam Gallagher sing recently ? He sounds like a poor Oasis tribute act, his voice has gone … and knowing people who have seen him live recently, it’s worse in person than recorded .

I saw them in 96, it was great … I’m not trying for tickets this time, those magic days have gone, and no over priced gig, filled with people who weren’t there the first time round, will be able to replicate it.

Enjoy your memories, and save your money … they will probably fall out anyway!

I heard him at Reading this year and he sounded fine.

You know he had Hashimoto's right? It changed his voice. As did age and likely smoking. He sounds different, but he still sounds good and he still sounds like Liam.

You haven’t heard him sing live recently, by your own admission, so maybe keep your opinion to yourself?

bluedomino · 31/08/2024 10:44

My kids know someone who is always getting tickets. It's become a joke how lucky they are. Surprise, surprise they got 4 tickets on the early sale and just got another 3 tickets. All for Cardiff. How? How are some people so lucky that they get through everytime? They got Cold Play and multiple Taylor Swift tickets.

BobnLen · 31/08/2024 10:45

Why are the tickets people are buying more expensive than advertised from Ticketmaster, is it dynamic pricing in action

MamaMaryMaria · 31/08/2024 10:46

Yeah we saw him this year and he was fine? He was what like 22 when they first hit the charts - of course no one is going to sound the exact same but you still know it’s him

The app told me one device when I opened it at the end, website didn't say this at all, 🤦🏻‍♀️ Just took me to the queue page with no mention of only using one device. Surely they expect fans to try as hard as they can to get tickets?

Of course they do but they have to also prevent bots and things. One device per person sounds perfectly fair. If people logged on 10 different devices it would make the queue even longer!
