Oasis ticketmaster issues

Is anyone else getting unreasonably mad that the ticketmaster site has completely crashed whilst trying to secure oasis tickets?!

That's a nasty thing to say to someone who is gutted they missed out on seeing someone they really wanted to see. It's really dismissive of her feelings.

Yes. We had no luck with that seat type and had to go for restricted view.

It wasn't really like that. I was paying and going to go with her. We share music tastes and were talking through great bands that are touring - Fontaines DC, Wunderhorse, etc. Like a 'chin up', we can go see other bands sweetie.

I went to see what the queue was like. They're not even bothering to give numbers now. It just says you're in a queue.

I'm just leaving it out of interest and so I can wind dh up when he comes down to tell him I'm sitting in the queue for Oasis tickets. 😂

I’m realistic about not getting any tickets but I’m disappointed. I missed seeing them in the 90s and would have loved to go. This modern way of getting tickets sucks.

To be fair that's common knowledge and Ticketmaster tells you only to use one device. You can use a phone on 4G and and a device on WiFi but not more that one device per internet connection, it's designed to stop bots.

Whatever happened to (hear me out, I'm old and this is how we did it) - the phone! Get a call centre manned, join a phone queue.

1. You speak to a person, no block buying bots could get through.
2. No being kicked out through technical fuck ups.
3. To alleviate time spent sorting out the tickets, still register all your details online. The call centre person can verify you, so you don't have to spell out your address or bank details, just which show you want, ticket type and how many. Sorted.

Probably some other issues to iron out, but for massive demand concerts such as this, time to bring back the phone maybe?

You're in the queue for the queue. You don't get numbers until you reach the front of the queue and enter the next queue

DD knows this, did everything right and still got suspended.

And tickets on viagogo for £1000 per ticket - hope they get cancelled

They’ll probably be headlining Glastonbury for anyone who might not be successful but would be trying to get tickets for that (not me, no chance!).

Don't know how I managed but decided to give it a go at 8.40 clicked on was put in a waiting room then at 9 I got added to a queue for my selected date. Was 875 in the queue, through in 5 mins and got 4 seated tickets. Cost me £200 each though! Didn't get to choose where or what.
I tried to pay PayPal and it didn't work so I paid debit. I've got the PayPal payment pending out my bank too though so I hope that sorts itself out...

I wonder if they might headline another festival? Isle of Wight maybe?

Got 4 standing for Wembley at 10.53, they weren't available at first but I kept trying and someone else's must have timed out. I'm not even going but happy teens!

I know it's each to their own but am I alone in not wanting to see these misogynists? Are women actually applying for tickets?

I can't even get on to the website! It's a ten hour wait and I've not even specified that I'm looking for Oasis tickets! Madness.
