DS is having a little play date today, low key birthday “party” but DS doesn’t really do parties so it’s more of a gloried play date.
Yesterday I did some baking … 8 sausage rolls, 8 scotch eggs, 8 jam slags and 8 chocolate brownies.

Came down this morning and most of it is gone, I text DH asking if he’d touched the baking and he said yes, he’d taken it for work.

im fuming, isn’t it fucking obvious that they were for the kids for today?? He’s insisting that it was not obvious. This is not the first time he’s done something like this.

You went to all that effort. Baking can be time consuming and fiddly. I would have been really annoyed at the sheer greed and presumption of the man

Just pointing out that being a dick is more of a description for some petty misdemeanour. This is way more than that and I think asshole is more appropriate.

My ex was a knob about food… He’d help himself to food that clearly wasn’t his (like Easter eggs or DD’s Christmas stocking) but anything that was HIS was put up on top of the cupboards and he’d moan like hell if I took so much as a packet of cheddars for DD’s packed lunch!

I don't know how many threads I've read on here where men have eaten things made for bbqs, weddings, parties. I believe they hate their families to do shite like that.

Once would anger me to no end, but I would end up forgiving him. Doing it over and over? That is a "man" who has no respect for his family and feels that everything is his to do with as he wishes. I could not stay with someone like that.
