What about sex? Do you not have sex in your bed either?

So people who wash their sheets infrequently not have sex in their bed?

Some of us are single. I consider it good practice to change the sheets between different men. I just change them more often than that would necessitate.

Good practice to change between men, I’d say so. Go you.😄

Summer weekly, when it's colder fortnightly.

Every Monday.

And FWIW I also wash towels after every use OP.

That's completely ridiculous

I do them about every 3 to 4 weeks. I'm a bit surprised that I'm clearly a grotter compared to most here 😆

Agreed!! If everyone did the same as OP as some other PPs the planet would be even more doomed that it is

"I was out with friends for dinner last night and I asked in conversation and everyone showers daily and washes their bedding weekly, so I was questioning the response on my first post."

But why ask at all?

Why do you care if other people shower more frequently or less often than you or change their bedding more frequently or less often than you?

Edited

I have never asked nor been asked this question by friends. We talk about more interesting things than washing!

We usually talk about much more interesting subjects it was literally a 30 second conversation but I was astonished by another thread.

Honestly I am with you but the thread I started someone wiped their arse with their hand and thought it was cleaner 😂

Lol I get that.

I live alone too although I have sex on the weekends. I have always washed them once a week regardless.

I just meant for those who wash them once a month or even more rarely don't they smell of sex and sweat?

Even if they claim not to sweat at night surely they are getting dirty during sex.

hottchocolatte · 17/04/2024 07:30

Thanks @EBearhug i may try it!

@exomoon i agree with @Bigearringsbigsmile I think people think if they or their clothes don't smell of BO then they don't smell but they certainly don't smell clean. If someone who hasn't showered for a few days gets close to
me i can tell even if they don't smell of sweat you can smell scalp or just not a clean smell

wow @gonegrl every 2 nights is a commitment!

hottchocolatte · 17/04/2024 07:34

Makes sense @nothingsforgotten that it's easier

I hate putting the duvet cover on!

hottchocolatte · 17/04/2024 07:35

I don't think I'd want to know how often my friends change their sheets to be honest! I think I'd rather not know and could do without people judging one another for this.
