First World problems, what a dull thread. Maybe think about something a bit deeper in life.

What a dull comment @SummersSoon

Why not find something that interests you instead?

Then why on earth would you take the time to read and comment on it? Baffling!

And yet you have taken the time to comment.

What a dull comment, maybe think of something better to say, and a little bit deeper.

Because it would be wasted on someone who worries about how many times other people's towels are washed. But yes I'll bow out and leave you to it. Yawn.

Every month or 2? Or 3? I don't keep track but it must be more than 4x a year.

I used to be a lot more bothered about this sort of thing but then I realised it doesn't actually make any difference.

Theoldwoman · 14/04/2024 22:28

Twice a week due to big dog climbing in on the sheets plus very sweaty, plus we live in a very hot climate.

MrsToothyBitch · 14/04/2024 23:00

Every other week on Tuesdays, alternated with dressing gowns. And we sleep naked. I won't do it more often as we both hate changing the duvet cover and I don't want that much ironing - duvet cover plus 8 pillowcases. We have a sheet under our fitted sheet and plain white pillowcases under our regular ones. I prefer ironed sheets hence why I do it rather than DH.

Assorted towels and wash cloth use-spans range from every other day to weekly. We do have set days for domestic washes - I'm dyspraxic and rigid routine is my coping mechanism. I can "deviate" but this way I have a baseline I can go back to/use as standard. DH finds it handy to follow too now he's in the swing.

Oh it does. Clean sheets feel way better.

hulahooper2 · 14/04/2024 23:06

ichundich · 14/04/2024 23:07

At least every couple of hours.

Motheranddaughter · 14/04/2024 23:10

Every 6 days

Motheranddaughter · 14/04/2024 23:11

If i was a millionaire it would be every day
Love a clean bed

friendlycat · 14/04/2024 23:17

Always once a week without fail. In summer bottom sheet and pillow cases get a change midweek as well. Mattress protectors and pillow protectors about every 3 weeks.

Copperoliverbear · 14/04/2024 23:21

Once a week

heavencakes · 14/04/2024 23:23

At least once a week, more if needed. I also wash my towel after 1 use but I don't wash it separately so it goes in with the wash I'd be doing anyway.

Hand towels and tea towels also changed daily.

Lilyscotswolds · 15/04/2024 00:13

Once a week — every Sunday :)
Such a chore but it is sooo worth it!

DyslexicPoster · 15/04/2024 00:19

Every two weeks as there's six of us. However if I don't write which beds I changed on the set day I sometimes miss that week by mistake ( do half the beds one week and the rest the next but no set way of who's I do when hence diary). Would make more sence to do eg ours and eldest week 1 and the youngest on week 2 but I'm not that organised and a bit random. Kids should really have clean pillows every week ideally. I'm a slob

SabreIsMyFave · 15/04/2024 00:19

Twice a month (unless I have been ill/sick, OR I have been hot, and have sweated more on them.... Sorry for gross image. Blush )

So, some months it's more. Hard to give an actual figure as it depends when they need it. I never have the bedding on more than 2 weeks without washing it though.

Through June, July, and August it tends to be 3-4 times a month - every 8-10 days.

I sleep alone in a single bed. Me and DH stopped sharing a bed about 15 years ago. BLISS!Grin His bedding gets washed twice a month.

MyricaGale · 15/04/2024 00:20

Every 2/3 days, I’m going through the menopause and wake up dripping in sweat.

Normally once every week for everyone else.

bradpittsbathwater · 15/04/2024 00:21

I was at a nice pub today and all they had was a hand towel to dry your hands with in the toilets. I swerved that and just dried them on my dress Envy

Catastropher · 15/04/2024 00:21

It’s such a hassle, I can’t be bothered. It’s physically taxing to strip the bed and even more taxing to put the clean duvet cover and sheet back on. Thats before you even consider the faff of ironing it and doing an extra 4-5 loads of laundry. I don’t know how the nutters who do it every week have time? I change it when it looks or feels dirty, maybe every 2-3 months.

bradpittsbathwater · 15/04/2024 00:24

I find every week a bit much. I'm don't have the time/drying space. Every 2 weeks is the most I can manage.
