To never ever buy from Snag again?

I'm just beyond disgusted and feel I need to vent.

I've always liked snag tights. I bought vouchers to save them in Lockdown, have spent hundreds with them. Liked their products and ethos- inclusive and female led.

Yesterday I went on their website, can definitely say it's my fault that I clicked on their NSFW collection, but I didn't expect what I found. Patches saying ' chke me' and 'cMSL*t'. Maybe I'm just a pearl clutching prude but I found these really offensive and not what I expect from a company with their ethos. I've put a pic below.

I posted in their Facebook group which I'm on highlighting that I thought this was a misjudgement on their part, that these were very misogynistic, and fed into a culture of violence against women which claims the life of a woman or girl every 11 minutes.

They declined my post and sent me a reply which I'll attach- I'm kink shaming apparently.

I find this really reprehensible and never want to spend a penny with them again!

I never thought I was prudish, whatever adults do between themselves is up to them, but I don't really want to buy from a clothing provider who is promoting this- aibu!?

I was already suspicious of them due to their marketing behaviours but thanks for the heads up, that is revolting.

I have already found that the Big Bloomers Company stuff is better than Snag ime - recommendation there - but will also check out Better Tights - I am currently in line for a repurchasing a bundle of tights due to holes and a bit of weight gain…so a few test purchases might be needed before investing.

The 'Jesus Loves Sluts' patch has made me laugh.

The other items don't alarm me but the choking badge is a little too far.

Had to Google NSFW! Never bought Snag and now never will. Gross.

Even without the NSFW stuff and the men with bulges, their advertising campagins are very unappealing. To me , at least.

Their bra fitting advice/guide is atrocious.

I love snag! I don't have a problem with their new range... but did you expect if you clicked on NSFW and that pic? Some people like that stuff, personally I don't but I'm not shocked or offended by it.

Oh no! I love my snags but didn't realise this although their Facebook posts are getting more odd. I'm nearly 6ft and snags are the only tights that fit properly 😭 Do better tights have a tall range?

I used to love snag. The quality has suffered though.

If the men's reviews were about the actually tights that would be nice. How they work under trousers perhaps. What the stretch is like on a taller person. That kind of thing. But no. It's all ladydicks and stunning and brave pouting. Tells me fuck all about the tights and everything about where their priorities lie. And since they don't care about the safety of women they don't get my money. I don't care if that's transphobic tbh. I don't care about men's fucking ladyfeelz.

Snag have been going down the pan for years. I regret buying the bulk tights from them during the pandemic going-out-of -business hysteria. But at the time they were the only tights I could wear and I couldn't risk them disappearing. I can't believe this is what empowerment looks like to some sections of society.

As for the patches though, meh. They’re NSFW, you were warned it might be something offensive but clicked the link anyway. I wouldn’t wear the patches but I wouldn’t wear snag tights either as their mainstream advertising strategy is bloody awful and most of the products I’ve seen are hideous.

Funny how they went from catering to plus size/tall women and quickly branched into sexual fetishes. Really helping the cause there Snag.
