Miracle tits - does partner get to keep them?

Boobiliciousness · 13/01/2024 15:16

Partner has come up with a hypothetical that we (weirdly) don't agree on.

The situation: he wakes up and has a pair of actual boobs. They are normal boobs, fully attached the same way boobs are, and he says they can also help out with breastfeeding. The bonus to him is he gets to admire them. He calls them "the miracle tits".

The disagreement: I say the fictional miracle tits have to go back to wherever or whatever they came from. He says his body his choice, and that they stay.

Who is being unreasonable?

Does DH realise that he’d have to wear a bra for the rest of his life? That’s a big extra expense if his hypothetical knockers are massive. And also wouldn’t be able to walk around shirtless in summer?
He needs to consider the practicalities before his brain starts to wonder.

This OP made me shudder.

The thought of my husband fantasising about growing his own tits, fantasising about breastfeeding our child with them, and fantasising about this causing me some sort of dilemma - of what? Envy? Feeling sidelined by his narcissistic self containment? Unhappiness that my daughter no longer had a special relationship only mothers can have with their children? Ick ick ick. Trying to get me to picture the freakish sight when I am sexually repelled by female sex characteristics and attracted to male sex characteristics.

What a revolting thought experiment.

LTB.

Or just shared surrealistic banter between a relaxed, humorous couple?
I think the latter and you are being very stern and brittle about some nonsense.

WhingeInTheWillows · 13/01/2024 16:33

@CoolShoeshine would he still be allowed to be shirtless? Male nipples are ok uncovered but female are not. Would they be considered male or female?

PixieLaLar · 13/01/2024 16:34

Typical man just thinking about the short term, what about the long term practical repercussions of walking around with a pair of tits. 🤣

AllIsWellish · 13/01/2024 16:37

My ex has one from all the steroid taking apparently .it looks really odd on a bloke

IncompleteSenten · 13/01/2024 16:38

Yabu.
His miracle tits, his choice.

OutFromUnderYou · 13/01/2024 16:39

Sell your story to the highest bidder, retire somewhere nice on the proceeds, get a miracle-tit-ectomy.

SusieSussex · 13/01/2024 16:39

I thought this was going to be about some new breast enlargement procedure called "Miracle Tits" and that your dh was saying he'd like to keep them in the event of your death.

MRSMTO · 13/01/2024 16:40

Christ on a bike there are some seriously humour lacking women on here! It's just a silly conversation and it really isn't going to happen!

It would takeaway from the special time I have with my daughter 🥱 🥱 no it wouldn't because it's HYPOTHETICAL!

eandz13 · 13/01/2024 16:42

harrietpot · 13/01/2024 15:41

Yuk, not into this at all and I'd also be worried that a man thinking of these "hypothetical" situations isn't also thinking about dressing as a women as part of a sexual fantasy in general, which I personally find dehumanising to women. We aren't just a collection of bolt on parts.

Grow up you miserable shite!

Unfun fact of the day, more men in the UK die of breast cancer than testicular cancer.

(Largely because testicular cancer is normally very treatable, and because breast cancer in men is very age sensitive so the men who get breast cancer are often too old to opt for aggressive treatment).

gosh that is an unexpected statistic. how awful

Janch13 · 13/01/2024 16:22

OP it sounds like you & your husband have too much time on your hands

Maybe they found five minutes between the incessant drudgery of life to have a silly conversation. Might be worth trying one day?

Mummyoflittledragon · 13/01/2024 16:47

LegoDeathTrap · 13/01/2024 15:26

Ask him what would happen if you grew the magical penis at the same time.

(Comes with an automatic 20% salary increase.)

lol. Exactly.

gamerchick · 13/01/2024 16:48

KarenNotAKaren · 13/01/2024 15:25

Or say “Yeah and maybe I can be blessed with a miracle cock so I can literally be as much of a wanker as you!”

Actually this is a good idea in a way. Have the conversation about if you woke up with a cock and see if he still.has the same stance.

I have fucked up conversations with my husband as well, so I get it Grin

Imo it's really important to have a bit of 'daftness' in a relationship.

Laughing together is such a good bonding thing.

Oh I have offended one of the "don't kink shame" brigade who think it is ok to erode women's rights and boundaries? Just because I'm not a gullible, everything is fine by me fool is no reason to be so rude. If you have to resort to such a crude response then perhaps examine why you felt so triggered by my comment.

0nceMoreUntoTheBreach · 13/01/2024 16:50

I think you should take the offer of help with breastfeeding. I totally would. Do you get to go to the golf course while he does it?

eandz13 · 13/01/2024 16:51

@harrietpot Crikey, you're a bag of laughs aren't you

harrietpot · 13/01/2024 16:54

@eandz13 Again with the flimsy, weak response that tries to insult me, interesting and quite revealing of you if you ask me.

LittleGreenDragons · 13/01/2024 16:55

I would wonder if he's testing your boundaries before deciding on pretending to be trans and getting his own boobs. There are quite a few men out there with boobs and dick. Fun times.

OutFromUnderYou · 13/01/2024 16:56

I spend a lot of time on FWR, but some of you could do with taking the day off.

ManchesterLu · 13/01/2024 16:58

BombaySamphire · 13/01/2024 15:19

What a strange subject to get hung up on.

Are you being serious? Do you never have funny and random conversations with your partner? I can't imagine my relationship being so boring.

It’s not “gullible” to have a silly conversation with your partner. I hardly think women’s rights are being eroded here. Are men’s rights being eroded when the boot is on the other foot?

The numbers are tiny in either case, so it's not awful really, given that everyone has to die of something, just unexpected.

Has he considered that all his mates would be trying to have a feel? This could be a serious game changer in his friendships 😘

That is something I hadn't considered 😱
