Depends what you want to read about, surely 🤔

Did you mean to be so rude?

OP posts:
ManateeFair · 02/01/2024 14:38

Nope, Tattle is vile

Did you mean to be so rude?

Yes

tinkly laugh, head tilt etc

Popfan · 02/01/2024 14:42

Tattle is awful, full of vile bullies.

vodkaredbullgirl · 02/01/2024 14:43

🍿

Nope, Tattle is vile

Have you seen the way posters on here talk to OP's? I'm talking your average person, not content creators with thousands of followers, just normal folk seeking advice about personal problems. It's horrendous. I've never seen that on tattle. Ever.

Enjoy it over there, then.

Knowivedonewrong · 02/01/2024 14:45

Tattle is much kinder than this place... some of the posters on here are so far up their own arsed & bloody vile with it.. the mods are much better on Tattle.

MUM2TJ · 02/01/2024 14:46

What's tattle?

fatandhappy47 · 02/01/2024 14:46

Tattle is awful!

CharmedCult · 02/01/2024 14:47

The mods are much more on the ball on Tattle. The personal attacks on posters here wouldn’t be allowed to stand over there.

Redundantrobin · 02/01/2024 14:48

Tattle is vile but I do agree that the general vibe on here is really horrible. Reddit AITA is much kinder - they don’t allow the nasty things MNHQ do.

This, with a million bells on!

If somebody disagrees with another poster on there they are generally very polite about it. There are a lot of very rude and condescending people on here who make no attempt to hide it.

OP, I think you meant to post in Flouncer’s Corner

Content creators are also people, and the stuff I've seen on Tattle has been absolutely appalling, with people kidding themselves that content creators are somehow fair game. I've seen people's children slated on there, people's professional integrity questioned, blatant, libellous lies about their lives and work, people being doxxed, accused of faking disability, absolutely awful stuff and behaviour that borders on stalking, all with the posters egging each other on and performing mental gymnastics to convince themselves it's somehow OK because the people whose lives they're ripping to shreds make a living online.

Fine if you want to hang out there, nobody's stopping you. But you asked a question and I answered it: I personally find Tattle to be absolutely repulsive.

vodkaredbullgirl · 02/01/2024 14:49

Is this a tattle attack to come over here, well piss off back there.

Cornettoninja · 02/01/2024 14:50

I’m still very analogue with my rudeness. I tend to have to wait till I’m out shopping till I can stand in the middle of Asda and say as loudly as I can ‘Tesco is much better’.

no one cares there either.

You think wrong m'dear. I'm not flouncing. I'll continue to read the boards and play MN bingo in my spare time. It makes for good entertainment when I have nothing better to do 😘

You say it’s ‘horrendous’ but you’re staying.

So you can’t even flounce properly 🙄

Do you have reading comprehension problems?

I've noticed a few threads recently where posters have been asking for tattle codes - you can't register an account without an invitation code. The moderators on Tattle have specifically asked users not to give out codes on Mumsnet.

I am not interested in the influencer threads, I don't know who most of them are, but the off topic section and general chat is friendly and funny.
