Do you have a TV in your bedroom?

We have a TV in our room but I never watch it, I'd prefer it wasn't there. Oh thinks I'm the only person in the world who doesn't watch TV in bed. Anyone else not have a TV in the bedroom?

No and I never want one in my bedroom. It would be too easy to watch it just for the sake of it and that would be a bad example to my little one.

Yes I do. One of my ASD kids likes space to himself sometimes but they don’t have tvs in their room so he sometimes has some ‘calm time’ in mine. I’ve put a beanbag in there as well but he usually just gets under my duvet when I’m checking in. Because the kids have difficulty going/staying asleep I can’t chill downstairs in the evening so I might put something on quietly for myself whilst having an ear out for escapees. I don’t have a partner so no worries on interfering with sex 🤣.

Yup and I love settling down for the night with it on low and the sleep timer set. Its background noise for me that blocks out the neighbours and street sounds. I know it's not great but I sleep better with than without.

Nah, I can watch anything on my phone if I want to. We used to maybe 10 years ago but it was only ever really used when we were ill, even then.

I used to but now I have a projector with a firestick, on a shelf above my bed. It’s bloody brilliant.

We have. My favourite time to watch it is when I get out of the shower. I sit on the bed watching it, while I do my facial routine and brush my hair. It's my little bit of peace of an evening.

No, not since I last had housemates. There’s no need once you’ve got the house to yourself. We have one in the room that the ironing board is in as well as the living room.

Yes, I have a big TV in the bedroom (it used to be the main TV in another property I rented when working away) as well as a Sky Q mini box. I don't use it very often but it's great for when I'm ill or want an early night and am partway through watching something but tired enough that I should be going to bed really. At least I fall asleep in my bed now rather than waking up on the sofa at 3am.

Perfect for cold winter nights too!

For those that are TV watchers but don't have one in your bedroom -do you have multiple TVs in the house as I think that makes a difference. My wealthier friends have a 'children's tv' in the play room/teen den whereas we don't have space for similar so have one in my bedroom instead

Well there is one in the room but it hasn't worked in 4 years... it wasn't used by me before that, I don't watch that much tv, but my other half would sometimes watch when he'd wake up when he did shift work. When I wake up it's generally from child waking me, and when I go to bed I just go to sleep generally so I don't have any need myself!

No TV in bedroom. I could understand if you and hubby don't want to watch the same things though.
