Do you have a TV in your bedroom?

We have a TV in our room but I never watch it, I'd prefer it wasn't there. Oh thinks I'm the only person in the world who doesn't watch TV in bed. Anyone else not have a TV in the bedroom?

I do have one, the only time it’s been on in the last 2 years has been when I’ve gone up to watch ghosts in peace and quiet. It may as well not be there tbh.

Londonrach1 · 04/12/2023 18:14

No. I don't, I know my sister doesn't or my parents, nor my iniaw or my sister and brother in law. So that's five houses. In fact I don't think my aunt does either...It's not great for sleep.

Nope.

Iam4eels · 04/12/2023 18:15

Nope, I don't like a TV in the bedroom but each to their own.

megletthesecond · 04/12/2023 18:15

Yes. My bedroom is warmer than the living room.

MrsTerryPratchett · 04/12/2023 18:15

Tell him studies show that people with TVs in their bedrooms have less sex and less sleep.

Which of those does he not like?

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 04/12/2023 18:16

Nope. I have never had a tv in any room except the living room in any house I've lived in.

Chasingsquirrels · 04/12/2023 18:17

Yes, but I rarely watch it since we got a dog as he isn't allowed upstairs so I stay downstairs in the evening whereas previous I might have gone to bed earlier and watched TV in bed.

TheChosenTwo · 04/12/2023 18:18

Yes and I bloody love it.

TheFlis · 04/12/2023 18:18

We always used to but never got around to installing it when we moved 3 years ago. I only miss it when I am ill, and even them I can use an iPad or laptop in bed if I really want to watch something.

AudiobookListener · 04/12/2023 18:19

No, not for years. They take up too much space and there's nothing intelligent on anyway.

AnnaMagnani · 04/12/2023 18:19

No because we both have laptops and if we wanted to watch something, we'd watch it on them.

sweetpickle23 · 04/12/2023 18:19

I don't and never would, but to each their own.

PurBal · 04/12/2023 18:20

Nope.

Nopenopenopenopenopenope · 04/12/2023 18:20

I don't. Haven't done since I was a kid at home 20+ years ago. Don't have a TV at all.

DisforDarkChocolate · 04/12/2023 18:20

We have one but it hasn't been switched on for about 2 years. I keep thinking we should get rid of it but neither of us can be bothered.

OhDoh · 04/12/2023 18:20

Yes Iove it. It's warmer in there and means if we want to watch different things I can sneak off to bed.

Bagwyllydiart · 04/12/2023 18:21

No, I don’t.

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 04/12/2023 18:21

We do, it's not used much though. It was last on when I had pneumonia back in January but I can't remember when turned on before that.

OhHowTheDogsStackUp · 04/12/2023 18:21

Yes. I didn't previously, but I've got to really like it.

Comedycook · 04/12/2023 18:22

Yes and I watch it a lot

Janieforever · 04/12/2023 18:22

AnnaMagnani · 04/12/2023 18:19

No because we both have laptops and if we wanted to watch something, we'd watch it on them.

Do you have a tv at all? Or do you just go to bed to watch tv on your lap top?

anyway op, no, did when I was in my 20s. I don’t want one in my bedroom and haven’t had one for about 20 years. To be honest, I only know one couple who do now. Where as 2 decades ago everyone did.

Ibizabar · 04/12/2023 18:23

Yes, nothing better than watching TV in bed on a cold night. Extra points for the leccy blanket on.

murasaki · 04/12/2023 18:23

No, and nor do my sisters or parents. I'd never get out of bed if I did.

Spaghettieis · 04/12/2023 18:25

Nope. I thought that was just a thing in hotels!
