I think the time has come to get a bit of magic into our houses without people thinking you are crazy for putting the tree up this early. 🙂

Let's use this thread not to boast but perhaps to give each other some ideas or motivate each other to slowly get into a Christmas mood. It's been a tough year for many myself included and whilst I did take the box with the tree out I am still waiting for this final push to start setting it up/decorating. Would love to see all your beautiful Christmas trees.

So many beautiful trees and I love them all ! Also a lot of inspiration for the future years when I might finally switch to a white snowed tree instead of a classic green one.🙂

When does everyone normally buy their Christmas baubles? Every year I am in love with John Lewis ones they look vintage and their selection is brilliant but they are pricey. I wonder if they all go on sale after Christmas perhaps that's the best time to stock up. 🤔

The little wooden ski man was from a Christmas cracker my mum opened 80 years ago. The wonky glitter star on top was made by one of my own kids in nursery .
The tree looks a bit uncoordinated and random compared to some of the beautiful trees I’ve seen on this thread but it’s hugely sentimental for me every year unpacking all these brittle heirlooms.

Just found some lovely glass baubles in lidl and they come in pack of 3 for something like 2.99. Look fantastic!

Thank you. Every year since I've lived here (nearly 10), we have the epic Rearrange the lounge to get the tree in the window. It's a big operation but worth it.

Mine comes down on the 7th January- We leave it up for the Epiphany January 6th.
So it goes up around the 20th December.

Mine is finally here! I'm shattered after charging about all day so I've only put her lights on and I'll do the rest tomorrow with a Christmas film 😀

@Alconleigh beautiful, but I hear you on the size. It's when they come trussed up in a net, and you have no real idea of the volume when opened out. We had similar last year, it was much bushier and wider than we estimated.

Can it be too bushy? Can it be too wide? It’s only for 4 weeks and it’ll look magnificent x
