I think the time has come to get a bit of magic into our houses without people thinking you are crazy for putting the tree up this early. 🙂

Let's use this thread not to boast but perhaps to give each other some ideas or motivate each other to slowly get into a Christmas mood. It's been a tough year for many myself included and whilst I did take the box with the tree out I am still waiting for this final push to start setting it up/decorating. Would love to see all your beautiful Christmas trees.

We always have a real tree so can't put it up as early (plus I really should clean my house first anyway! 😅)

We are away for Christmas this year so will still get one for the run up but a smaller one...more of a Christmas Bush!

The tree is about 14 years old, a 7ft Tesco's Finest tree bought half price at £30! It's done us proud.

This year, the kids decorated it all, I only had to set the tree up and add the lights. They've done a grand job!

Thanks for the inspiration! Thanks to this thread I've decided that Christmas starts today, changed my username and put my tree up on my tea break 😁
I shall return later with a photo once I've decorated it.
Very excited about my new old style lights I got in Aldi the other week!

Are those the coloured bell/flower lights? I got them last year - they are glorious!

I wonder if my local Aldi would still have any traditional lights left??

kittens and trees! Ours got a tick from out real tree last year - wrecked that then demolished the fake one!

Here is my tree this year. It’s not themed and it is a fake tree bought at Asda for £60 three years ago but it has done well and suits me fine. I absolutely love it but I know it’s not perfect 😍

I have two 18 month old cats and a three month old cat. First time since I was born that I will have no tree. The 2 cats last year destroyed it and ate the lights. I'm not even bothering this year with a new kitten!

I can't believe it 30 pounds !! Looks sooo much more luxurious! Can't think of any tree for 30 quid these days even quite pricey ones often look so cheap.

No such thing as a perfect tree and yours is beautiful !

One of my best friends has always got a complete mix of decorations on her tree but every single one has got a story/meaning/connection to it and even though her tree is perhaps not instagram perfect, its so symbolic and beautiful.
