When do you think it is acceptable to put up Christmas decorations and tree?

Whenever makes you happy hun

December, or first Sunday of Advent.

The weekend before the 25th December. This year I will make an exception and say 16th.

Do you take it down on Boxing Day?

I feel it makes it less special being up so long.
I assume people who put it up early, then take it down really early, do so because they are sick of it by then.

DS' birthday is right at the end of November so I never put ours up before December, I begrudgingly take it all down on twelfth night. I love the fairy lights they make everything feel cosy

When you want. Personally I hate seeing them up in November. I like the anticipation of seeing them later in December. I know I'm in the minority tho!
