At what age did you had your second DC

DH thinks we are older parents at 40 and 35 respectively. Our friends had DC early in 20s and early 30s. We had our first DC in early 30s and we are planning for second. I have been arguing that we are average age and it's not too late.

24 and 21 for 2nd

I was 38 when I had my second. My husband was 49.

We were 36 and 46 when we had our first.

I was 22

DH was 48

First at 33, second at 41

36 41 ( just managed to scrape in before 42nd birthday.)

First at 26, second at 27 and third at 30.

I think 30s is quite common now to have DC. I don't think it's late. It's just whenever it suits people.

My first when I was 34 my second when I was 36, all good, I'm 47 now and no regrets of the timing of things.

First at 33 and second at 37. I know, biologically, it’s quite late but I didn’t/don’t feel like an “old” mum and my pregnancies were very straightforward. Husband was 35/39.

First at 30 second 32 I was one of the younger mums at primary school.

I had my first at 30, and I just gave birth to my second at 33 this week.

2nd I was 36 and my husband 40. Having our third soon.

I was 30, DH 29 when we had our second. Lots of our friends don’t have children yet though.

My mum was 37 when she had my sister

I was 22, 26 and 33. Dh 8 years older

Tried for a third but stopped trying when I was 40. Husband is younger.

26, and considered "old", this was the 70s.

I was 22,24, 27 then 34. I'm 40 now. My children are 18, 16, 13 and 6. Definitely no more!
