At what age did you had your second DC

DH thinks we are older parents at 40 and 35 respectively. Our friends had DC early in 20s and early 30s. We had our first DC in early 30s and we are planning for second. I have been arguing that we are average age and it's not too late.
Please share your opinions and when you had your second DC

DH 2 years younger than me.

1st 22, 2nd 29. Second pregnancy was a lot harder, I’m glad I wasn’t any older.

I was 32 when my second was born. DH had just turned 35.

Second at 37. I was told at the local hospital that I was “young” for a second based on the averages in the local area. However if I had lived in the nearest city instead I would have been “old”.

First 26, second impending. (Still late 20s)

19 and 24

Had my kids at 30, 35 and 40. No health professional ever referred to me as an older mother.

First at 26 second at 29. But I know tons of people having babies in their late 30s and 40+ so I spot thinking you'd be unusual

First at 31, second at 35.

You would be average age where I live. I had my first at 35 and second at 37. I don't know anyone who had a baby before 30.

DH is 10/11 years older than me.

Our first came home when I was 29, our second came home when I was 33 and my husband was 29. Fairly typical ages for the area of North London we lived in.

They're quite addictive, babies!

36 for my second. Most of my friends are having their first at the same age.

34 and 36. Lots of my friends have had babies at a similar age or older.

Having said that, if I'd been younger I might have gone for a third but I won't now. Don't fancy another one at 40 but that's just me.

If you want another baby, then go for it!

25 for my first and 30 for my second, most people I know had their first early 30s and second a few years later though. My mum had my younger sister at 38 and didn’t stand out as a particularly old mum or anything.

First one I was 24, second one I was 31. Biggest shock of my life as totally unplanned.

It’s quite normal for our villages to have kids late 30/ early 40 or really young parents, but in local town the parent age is younger about 30.

Both planned but took a few years to get over the birth trauma of the 1st, so really thought she'd be ny only one until one day I changed my mind!!

My friend's mum was 46 when she had her though, and I've got 3 friends who had their 2nd and 3rd children in their early 40's

Had my first at 35 and was the youngest in my NCT group! Currently pregnant so so going well will have DC2 at 38.
