Settle an argument - what sauce on what meat?

Been out in the cold all day watching DS at a football tournament. Back home and the general consensus was bacon/sausage sandwiches for tea. The circle of piss argument ensues. DH thinks I'm a heathen for having brown sauce on a bacon sandwich. According to him, it's brown on sausage and red on bacon. I say it's the other way round - who's right, him or me?

Brown on either bacon or sausage. Red sauce can get in the bin.

Brown sauce is horrible so I wouldn't ruin either with it.

Brown really only goes with pastry based meat products such as pork pies or meat and potato pie. I suppose if there was no other sauce I'd consider it on sausage but not on bacon, just wouldn't be right.

Though I only have brown sauce on a plated up cooked breakfast. For some reason I would never eat red sauce with a cooked breakfast but I prefer it on sandwiches.

That being said tomato ketchup is for children, philistines or used to cover up really crap food.
