To think David Beckham just looks like a standardly attractive man?

All these threads about the Beckham documentary and so many people going on about how 'easy on the eye' / beautiful he is.

I'm not saying he's unattractive but I don't get why he's so objectified?

He just looks like any average bloke to me.

Why the hysteria over his looks?

He may have been good looking once but I dislike his tattoos and I don't find him the least bit attractive.

I can see why people think he's good looking and he seems nice enough but he's not my type at all.
The Beckhams have always looked a bit greasy, like they need a good scrub to me.

Reminds me of when I worked in a call centre in the late 1990s and read HEAT magazine all day and my colleague said VB looked like she has a mucky gusset.

Beckham is clearly a very good looking man, whether or not you find him attractive.

Gary Neville is an average looking guy and one of the select few that has a less attractive voice than Beckham. That ‘orgasm’ commentary clip is quite something.

After that sketch with James Corden & the statue I literally can’t stand DB.
He has a massively overinflated ego. I do think he’s good looking, but after that he just gives me the massive ick.

He is good looking but not someone I would see myself fancying. I like a man who doesn't have wondering 👀 and has a bit more depth to himself. Saying that I don't think DB would be banging down my doors either. So it is what it is!

He was good looking when younger in that best looking boy on the council estate way. The voice was always terrible. As he as aged, with all the work, the hair transplants, the terrible tattoos, the try hardness, with the same squeaky voice, he is not at all attractive. He looks like he could do with a good wash.

As I get older, I find I react to most heart throbs the same way: they could all do with a good wash and often a haircut!

He is my number one celebrity crush and is probably a part of why I picked Manchester United to support (my goodness did we have some team back then) I do still heavily support them so not just him 😂

Only thing I'd do without is the tattoos and I actually like his voice 🙃

Didn't enjoy the shaved head or the long hair as much

I doubt he would have got so many brand deals if he was average looking. Even in the doc all the other footballers noticed his looks.

Well. My guilty crush confession is probably the most outing thing about me as I doubt anyone else shares it and irl my friends and family mock me mercilessly for it but give me Alan shearer over DB any day 😂

He held a door for me in a restaurant about 15 years ago. Shorter than I'd imagined but incredibly good looking.

I never really thought he was anything very special until he came into a restaurant I was in in central London about 5 years ago . He was very much more handsome in the flesh and I suddenly saw the point. Still not my type but objectively well above averagely good looking.

Lovely eyes and I'm a sucker for laughter lines.
I think he's gorgeous ,a kind face and a lovely smile.
His voice is much less high pitched now.

I think he is gorgeous. Less so now with the tattoos but definitely still got it. Gary Neville though seems like the loveliest man and friend.

he may not be your type (and he’s not mine either) but there are precisely zero 40-50 year old men in my office of 100+ for example who are better looking.

He is absolutely not average looking

Good Lord! He is an exceptionally good looking man who, with wife Victoria, brought football into pop culture domain. Can't underestimate what this guy did for football/UK. Not many like him about

He was a beautiful young man, and would be a gorgeous middle aged man were it not for the tattoos and whatever weird stuff he has done to his face.
I don’t find Botox/plastic surgery attractive on anyone.

I never found him attractive but he was very attractive when younger and always kept his body in amazing shape just not my type. Think it was his bone structure on his face was good and camera loved him. Then when he opened his mouth and the squeaky voice came out 'Victoria will you make me a cup of tea' aaaggghhh could not listen to that. Clothes just always looked great on him and that is why he did so well for fashion brands and they loved him in Asia as he was all bleached blonde and dressed different than most footballers.

But never found him attractive at all, he has had work done, hair transplant, botox etc but he looks bit scraggly now but still has kept his body in amazing shape. I was shocked at how thin Victoria was, her arms and legs like a child's but she has had a good bit of work done on her face, lips are massive but none of them really good looking just have nice clothes and well groomed.
