To think David Beckham just looks like a standardly attractive man?

All these threads about the Beckham documentary and so many people going on about how 'easy on the eye' / beautiful he is.

I'm not saying he's unattractive but I don't get why he's so objectified?

He just looks like any average bloke to me.

Why the hysteria over his looks?

I don't find him attractive in the slightest. I am sure lots of folk do though, each to their own.

He's tall, good body and not bad to look at, but personally I don't like his stubble and heavy tattoos, they don't do it for me.

He photographs well. Some of those magazine covers from the 90s make him look like a god.

I can see why people think he's good looking and he seems nice enough but he's not my type at all.
The Beckhams have always looked a bit greasy, like they need a good scrub to me.

All the tattoos make him look very grubby. I don't think he's far above average in looks but he has a nice smile.

I mean he is far from average. I haven't seen him in real life but I bet your head would turn. There is definitely something about him. I don't personally like all the tattoos he's had but he's way hotter than most men half his age, let's face it.

He's objectively an attractive man, though I'm not a fan of his hair with too much product in it.

He looked good at Harry and Meghan's wedding. Definitely wouldn't say he's an average bloke in his late 40s.

He’s clearly not the sharpest tool in the box but he appears to be kind and self-deprecating, which are big pluses. His body isn’t beyond the realm of possibility for men of his age, metabolism permitting.

I clearly live in the wrong place then. He's not my cup of tea (love the tattoos though), but 'average'? So there are tons of blokes who look like him walking down the street where you live? Nah. He's objectively handsome and attractive.

Chris Hemsworth is also not my bag, but I can't seriously say he's 'average looking' just because he's not MY type.

The idea that David Beckham is stupid is laughable. He's properly working class, which many people seem to equate with stupid and he did some rash and immature things early in his career, but he listened and developed and has achieved loads more than he would have if he was "just" a stupid footballer. He's a masterclass in what happens when you're ready and able to learn.

I will take this further and say I don't find him attractive at all. I also don't find Brad Pitt attractive. No doubt the feeling would be entirely mutual!

I like dark haired, geeky types.

I find his looks very appealing. But I don't like the excessive tattoos. And his voice is awful. Not his fault but there it is.
