I'm in the reserve judgement camp; I think, hope, most people (who aren't on online chat platforms - ie the majority of the populace) are probably in that camp.
I used (in an earlier thread) the Alex Salmond case as an example of a man who'd been accused by multiple women and (upon being able to provide a defence, have the claims scrutinised by a jury, with a judge overseeing proceedings) was found not guilty on all charges. Salmond also claimed an establishment stitch up. I'm not accusing the women in the RB case of lying, what I am doing is giving a relevant example of why judgement should be (and IS, in law) reserved.

RB has used his promiscuous reputation as material for his stand up. Most comedians (particularly those in the black comedy/scandal genre) reference and ridicule distasteful things in their act; so his act can't (in any serious way) be considered 'proof' of anything.

There is no difference in the psyche of those siding with RB and those siding with his accusers; both positions are based on presumption and bias. The only reasonable position is the undecided one.

He is just a gaslighting rapist.

True he's not being suspended - he was never employed by YouTube. He's just not getting money for putting videos on YouTube. That's YouTube choice to not to give him money anymore. Why is that wrong?

No suspension. No silencing. No banning. Can still have the benefit of the medium. There's just no monetary benefit.

I feel very very sorry for his children and the women he has traumatized. My guess is he will carry on until he is forcibly stopped.

His YouTube channel hasn't been shut down iirr. He just can't earn revenue from advertising in it. He can still have the channel, just not the money.

@BlurredEdges you do have to say alleged rapist. Whilst there was a 3 year investigation by media organisations, he has not been arrested, charged or been found guilty by a criminal court. Until that happens it is alleged, whether or not you believe his accusers; which I do.

My question isn't emotive at all. It's a test of belief. Either his defenders genuinely believe he is innocent and in the misunderstood, misquoted maxim 'innocent until proven guilty' so there would be no problem whatsoever with anyone - or they don't, in which case they wouldn't leave their daughter with him because common sense applies. Any waffling about court cases is irrelevant.

One person has reported him to the police, not involved in this story.

This has been a long media investigation 3 or 4 years. RB is apparently extremely litigious so I imagine this has now been published as a conclusion to fairly robust information gathering and analysis. I think all information has been passed to the police.
