@Jumpingthruhoops I have explained multiple times that there is robust, replicated research from multiple independent sources that demonstrates it was safer to be vaccinated than remain unvaccinated.

What you are suggesting is a conspiracy whereby tens of thousands of experts have been persauded to particpate in such a conspiracy. It's ridiculous.

I thought you would appreciate that is not literally just ten people (i.e. the ten electricians I used as an example)

I have also explained that it is not possible for a single person to do the same kind of evidence synthesise that is required when it comes to recommendation of health interventions - it requires a team of people, with relevant qualificaitons and expertise, working full time for weeks and months. I suggested that you read the summary documents, and you are welcome to follow any statements back to the original source if you have concerns.

I also pointed out that you can try following the claims people make back to the actual source. As is always the case - and I've done it dozens of times for fake claims about SARS-COV-2 vaccines - what is said does not reflect the actual document that they are claiming it is from.

All of this was ignored though, of course!

People don’t follow things to source because they don’t have the education and/or intelligence required to properly evaluate the sources.

That’s why the slow erosion of confidence in experts / science by grifters like Brand is so awful. They pedal bullshit to an enraptured audience, breaking down belief in the people who actually have their best interests - and not just their wallets - at heart.

Look at the damage done to little kids because their idiotic parents don’t vaccinate. It’s heartbreaking.

My research is never featured on the news, sometimes I struggle to get it published anywhere. It doesn't mean it's being suppressed and scientists have multiple avenues for result dissemination.

If you were claiming that anything negative about vaccines wasn't used in the most recent risk/benefit assessment to recommend to various groups you'd have a point, but that isn't the case.

Basically, at the start of the pandemic, Ofcom issued a directive prohibiting the MSM from commenting/running any coverage criticising the govt's pandemic response and/or that challenged the 'preferred narrative' around (but not limited to) govt policy, lockdown, masks, mandates, jabs, the science and such like.

In layman's terms, the media were literally NOT allowed to present even official statistics if these findings were unpalatable. So people turned to the internet - and people like RB - hoping for answers.

I'll leave it there now as I don't fancy being called a conspiracy theorist again! But you get the gist.

I looked at official statistics during the pandemic and they were certainly being presented by some of the the media. There was plenty of criticism of the government response too. I'm pretty sure that ofgem don't "issue directives" telling the media what to report.

Ofcom issued this directive in March 2020. It seems to mainly be reminding broadcasters (the proper ones, not the grifting box) to abide by the rules and be careful of not spreading misinformation about Covid.

It in no way prohibits discourse or ‘negative’ coverage of the Covid plans.
