For context I have been messaging this person and sometimes I don’t reply quickly due to working or other things and this is what he says. Top message supposed to say ‘at messaging’ I’m guessing..I’m mid twenties and he is mid thirties.

What would your thoughts be if you received this text message?

Oh no. Nope nope nope. No.

SamBrown2019 · 09/09/2023 18:56

Apart from the terrible spelling and grammar he is possibly non vanilla and checking your reaction in a very unsophisticated and inappropriate manner

Seaswimmer23 · 09/09/2023 18:58

Oh no. Nope nope nope. No

bluejumping · 09/09/2023 18:59

He has crap chat . I wouldn’t bother with him

GilbertMarkham · 09/09/2023 19:03

The illiteracy would turn me off.

Doesn't know the difference between your and you're.

Well give him and as a typo.

Smak for smacked - looks like he really can't spell a simple word like smacked.

He sounds dumb as fuck.

He also sounds a bit sleazy/chauvinist.

And he sounds potentially demanding/hassley .

Mariaban · 09/09/2023 19:04

I'd think it's a bit needy but also cute 😂

Burningthroughthesky · 09/09/2023 19:06

I wouldn't bother meeting him.

ShinyBandana · 09/09/2023 19:06

I’d block him for the spelling mistakes alone

WunWun · 09/09/2023 19:07

Raisinnola · 08/09/2023 05:48

I would actually assume he’s testing the water to see if you’d be open to a bit of bedroom related spanking. I can almost guarantee.

This!

Anon1979 · 09/09/2023 19:20

The fact you're asking folk what they think makes me think it makes you uncomfortable/ gives you the ick. Not the best starting point for a relationship. If you can see past it go for it. But if it really makes you uncomfortable you'll soon find more things.

Looloo58 · 09/09/2023 19:29

I’d ignore it and answer when you’re ready, if you were a brain surgeon on call, different story!

inthvalley · 09/09/2023 19:30

Gross 🤢

Asyousayit · 09/09/2023 19:32

Such a charmer and what a way with words! 😍 you must be burning with desire for his skin flute 🤣

HurkleDurkling · 09/09/2023 19:33

Possibly not great with the written model. Worth investigating and he may be wonderful, just not great with words.

MadeleineMummy · 09/09/2023 19:41

Mariaban · 09/09/2023 19:04

I'd think it's a bit needy but also cute 😂

As in Peter Sutcliffe cute????

Obviously he charmed the pants off Sonia Sutcliffe so he must have been some Romeo character.

if Something smells like shit, looks like shit and tastes like shit, it would a mad woman or someone who is desperate who would want to give the guy a date.

IsobelNecessary · 09/09/2023 19:42

Catsmere · 08/09/2023 01:18

I'd think it was an illiterate troll/scammer/sexual harasser and block it immediately.

Same here.

IVFfirsttimer91 · 09/09/2023 19:54

Smak bum 😂 eww. Instant ick. He is clearly trying to be flirty and cheeky but he has fallen ‘smak’ on his face with that.

loserssaywhat · 09/09/2023 19:55

I would think ‘holy shit I need to raise my standards’ and then bin it off.

Grendell · 09/09/2023 19:59

It gave me The Vicarious Ick.

Hooplahooping · 09/09/2023 20:05

Irredeemably needy ICK.

Crikeyalmighty · 09/09/2023 20:14

As I said below whilst we can't discriminate in many areas of life (quite rightly) when it comes to relationships people can and do discriminate as much as they want and if making sleazy comments or being semi literate is a no no for them, then they don't have to make allowances at all - it's just a fat no!! - it's like me saying it's not fair (if I was single) that the hot middle aged guys dont want to date me because I'm 61 and just under14 stone. I'm intelligent, a great cook, not unattractive (although overweight) kind and easy going- bloody unfair they won't pick me- that is life- people pick and choose and discriminate- however illogical it may seem to some.

honeyrider · 09/09/2023 20:18

Blueeyedmale · 08/09/2023 01:27

Sounds quite needy smacks of I want all your attention and you should give it to me now that can also potentially lead to controlling behaviour there is also an aspect of immaturity to it also

I agree with this. Major ick.

Twinkle8516 · 09/09/2023 20:20

I had an ex who would be needy like this, if I didn’t message back straight away, was the first red flag of many!

EmpressaurusOfCats · 09/09/2023 20:22

arethereanyleftatall · 09/09/2023 17:53

Are you for real @Keyworks?!?

You think someone who sends such awful, infantalising, inappropriately sexual, controlling texts to someone ten years his junior who he's never met - should be treated with kindness?

How far do you think women should go to accommodate men with 'personality disorders who can't express themselves' to make sure they're kind? A few more inappropriate messages, then say no? Is that kind? Or do they have to date them too? Sleep with them ti make sure they're being kind?

Somehow ‘#BeKind’ never seems to mean men being kind to women. It’s always the other way round.

loulouljh · 09/09/2023 20:22

He is illiterate and that in itself would be the end...
