to think that some people should just stop moaning?

Some people are never happy, are they? They moan that they are in a bad situation, usually of their own making, then they moan that nobody will help them, then they moan that when someone does help them, it's the wrong sort of help, then they are dug out of the situation the put themselves in, only to put themselves straight back in again.

If you are moaning you don't have enough room in your free house for 2 kids, and then you get put in a bigger (free!) house so you do have enough room, why do people then get pregnant again? Are they stupid or what????? It's just a kick in the teeth to everyone who helps them when they are desperate, it's wasted money down the drain all the time. They should be made to live with it. It's not my problem if they can't keep their uglies in their pants.

waves to the troll

I think someone needs a Waaaaahmbulance over here!

Washersaurus · 28/02/2008 22:01

Unless you are chief giver of housing I would mind my own business if I were you. I feel that this thread is well out of order.

Washersaurus · 28/02/2008 22:02

Hmm come to think of it I bet trolls DO work for some Housing Associations...hmmm

hecate · 28/02/2008 22:02

AIBU that people should not namechange to have a pop and start a row.

Things are going to get nasty on this thread. I'm off.

MsHighwater · 28/02/2008 22:04

Why don't you start?

Washersaurus · 28/02/2008 22:04

Can't MNHQ just delete it under their new policy of removing pointless timeconsuming slanging matches, which this is almost guaranteed to become?

HavingAPop · 28/02/2008 22:05

I'm not talking about people who get housed, I'm on about when people get housed, then housed again, and again and then they are still moaning that nobody helps them, nobody gives a shit, it's so hard being on your own, I can't cope with my kids, I only like them when their babies, don't know what I'll do when my youngest grows up, I know, I'll have another baby.

Yeah, because that will solve the problem of not dealing with the oldest 3 won't it lovie?

Simple. Children are children - and in a civilised society, children's welfare is everybody's business. You can tell a lot about a society by the way it treats its poor and vulnerable. We don't just leave people to rot.

So you can take your half-baked Daily Mail-reading bigoted pigshit opinions and stuff them where the monkey stuffs his nuts.

2shoes · 28/02/2008 22:09

how weird to start a thread moaning about people moaning

southeastastra · 28/02/2008 22:11

yes some people are right miserable gits

Chuffinnora · 28/02/2008 22:11

Washersaurus - I thought trolls were employed by the Highways Agency in the Bridge Dept?

Emprexia · 28/02/2008 22:11

Go Greensleeves! Go Greensleeves!

:gets the cheerleading outfit on::

Tell her what you think luv... don't hold back now will you!

Washersaurus · 28/02/2008 22:11

This can't be the real opinion of a woman/man who has their own children can it?

HavingAPop · 28/02/2008 22:11

It's not the house. I could care less who lives where or what they pay. It's the attitude towards the people who are providing the house. "F council, F bastards don't care" etc etc They've been helped, theyve been helped as much as anyone can help then, but they just won't run with it and help themselves a bit. They'd rather pretend they had the virgin conception for all their children and they deserve to be helped again and again and again. How many times can you be expected to bail someone out? Just imagine if the goverment was a poster on Mumsnet posting "My kids keep having babies they can't pay for and don't like once they're older, we keep trying to discourage them but they won't stop and we can't afford to keep paying for them!" I don't think the advice would be to shut up and put up, would it?

Chuffinora - you know what these councils are like the trolls probably move around on secondments or something

Emprexia · 28/02/2008 22:13

i vote we tie her to a chair and subject her to an hour of Barney the Dinosuar, followed by an afternoon of the teletubbies.... then, to top off her punishment.. a Doodlebops marathon!

That'll kill off that lonely ol' braincell of hers.

Greensleeves · 28/02/2008 22:14

I think we should have a whipround and try and scrounge her another brain cell - then she'll be a houseplant

2shoes · 28/02/2008 22:15

K999 ddn't you say you wouldn't be on here? or is that tomoro

Washersaurus · 28/02/2008 22:15

DloeufyDoo · 28/02/2008 22:15

Chuffinnora · 28/02/2008 22:16

Kaishay - Good God woman have some mercy, not a Doodlebop marathon - she cannae take it.

Emprexia · 28/02/2008 22:16

But would you want a houseplant with that attitude?

I think i'd put it outside for my moms dog to pee on.

Greensleeves · 28/02/2008 22:17

no, we can give it to WigWamBam, she can feed it menstrual stock (that's not a joke btw, she really really does feed it to her plants)
